With a full kitchen that includes a dining area, a bathroom that features a shower/deep soaking tub combo, washer/dryer in-unit, living room with ample seating, an office area with wireless printer, 2 smart tvs and outdoor seating. While the unit itself was clean and well maintained, the overall experience was impacted by factors outside of the host’s control. The location was not ideal for our needs, and the walls were very thin, making it easy to hear neighboring units. Cooking odors from nearby apartments also traveled into the space, which was noticeable during our stay. For these reasons, this property was not the best fit for us, and we would not choose to stay here again.

The apartment was spotless and Chris had thought of every we could possibly need for our stay. Plenty of space and well equipped, and we appreciated the chance to do some washing. It was a short walk to the top of the road to the bus stop to take you into town. Great communication prior to check-in. Thank you Chris!

Very convenient location to the airport - or to watch float planes land on the lake. Everything in the apartment was very well thought out and clearly labeled. Communication was clear and timely. We definitely stay again and confidently recommend to others.

This was the second time we stayed at this property. Highly recommend for a 2-person lodging that is clean, well-designed and convenient to both Anchorage and day trips out from the city.

Anchorage retreat

The property was great; sparklingly clean and appointed with every comfort. Very close proximity to airport and Lake Hood float plane center. Quick access to downtown restaurants. Loved the modern design and decor of the rental. We used as an hub for day trips around the Anchorage area. (Girdwood, Portage Glacier area, Turnagain Arm, Matanuska Glacier, Hatcher Pass.)

Must stay in Anchorage

My husband and I had a fantastic stay. The property is just a 5 minute drive from Ted Stevens International Airport. We preferred this location to downtown which was only a 10 minute drive. Christopher is an excellent host who truly has thought of everything to make his guests comfortable. We were so comfortable on the 2nd night of our stay that just we didn’t even want to go out! We were so comfortable in our “home away from home”. Highly recommended and will be our first choice next time we’re in Anchorage.

Chris has thought of everything to make guest comfortable & happy. Comfortable bed, soft towels, labeled cabinet so you know where everything is. We even walked to the Fancy Moose Lodge to eat dinner were we watched the float planes taking off & landing. We highly recommend this apartment unit. It will be our first choice when we return to Anchorage.

We stayed here 2 nights when we furst arrived in Anchorage for a 2 week vacation in Alaska. It suited our needs fine. Everything about the inside of the house was well thought out and organized. Very nice!

Alaska vacation.

Chris did a great job of thinking of everything. It was a great clean and extremely well outfitted apartment Where we stayed for a week. We were able to use it as a jumping off point for Seward, Girdwood, Whittier, Alyeska, and Denali. Thank you Chris for a memorable stay!
