Anchorage modern apartment

This was the second time we stayed at this property. Highly recommend for a 2-person lodging that is clean, well-designed and convenient to both Anchorage and day trips out from the city.

The apartment was spotless and Chris had thought of every we could possibly need for our stay. Plenty of space and well equipped, and we appreciated the chance to do some washing. It was a short walk to the top of the road to the bus stop to take you into town. Great communication prior to check-in. Thank you Chris!

Anchorage retreat

The property was great; sparklingly clean and appointed with every comfort. Very close proximity to airport and Lake Hood float plane center. Quick access to downtown restaurants. Loved the modern design and decor of the rental. We used as an hub for day trips around the Anchorage area. (Girdwood, Portage Glacier area, Turnagain Arm, Matanuska Glacier, Hatcher Pass.)

While the unit itself was clean and well maintained, the overall experience was impacted by factors outside of the host’s control. The location was not ideal for our needs, and the walls were very thin, making it easy to hear neighboring units. Cooking odors from nearby apartments also traveled into the space, which was noticeable during our stay. For these reasons, this property was not the best fit for us, and we would not choose to stay here again.
