There is plenty of space for entertainment and relaxation with spacious rec room, outdoor fire pit, large deck off kitchen, private yard with large circle drive and pull barn for extra vehicle parking and boat space. This inviting ambiance and proximity to water and nearby attractions makes this home the perfect blend of relaxation with close-by entertainment. Whispering Pines is the ideal retreat for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and those seeking a peaceful getaway.
The open plan living area combines the kitchen, dining area and living room providing a welcoming space for gatherings and quality time with loved ones. Step outside onto the large outdoor deck with gas grill and fire pit overlooking pine tree bordered yard. Extra space is provided for gathering in rec room with foosball table, dart board game and social bar with walk-out patio.

The property was perfect for a girls weekend! Close enough to go out and visit the different towns in Door county, but also peaceful backyard to enjoy a fire and plenty of room inside for all!

While this is not the "fanciest" property in Door County, it certainly worked for our small group with three kids and one dog. The coffee pot could not be set the night before, since it leaks; and the garage was slightly musty smelling, so anything we kept in there like chairs, games and toys, picked up a slight odor. However, the pole building was awesome for storing my son's boat, the back yard was roomy for the kids and dog to run and play, the basement game area/bar was clean and fresh and the washer and dryer were very modern new units that were a welcome sight. There was plenty of room for our two trucks in the driveway. We were very pleased with our stay. Great value for the money!

This home was a great size for our group of 6. We each had our own bed and the 2 bathrooms worked well of our group. We appreciated access to the garage so we had a place to store our bikes. Nice secluded location with easy access to town.

Great place with plenty of parking.

Came up for our 15th year of our group of guys fishing. Place had excellent parking and it’s very close to Sturgeon Bay. Property was in great shape with very comfortable beds. We brought three trucks and boats and had plenty of room to park. Communication is great. Had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. The property was very clean upon our arrival. It had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay, plenty of towels, kitchen items, coffee available, etc. Nice peaceful location. I would recommend this property!

This house perfectly suited our needs. Plenty of beds, which ranged from comfortable to too firm, depending on the bed. We loved the sitting area in the living room for hanging out. The back yard was huge! We had plenty of space to walk around, play yard games, enjoy the fire pit. The porch swing was a nice touch too! The main thing that would have improved this visit was a dishwasher. Other than that, we would definitely stay again!

Girls weekend

An amazing place to stay to escape the city. Very nice patio and outdoor fire pit to sit around on the cooler nights. Great location too! Highly recommend this place and would love to book again!

We booked this property at the last minute and the host was very responsive and accommodating. We had to head into town due to a death in the family and there was a bit of a scramble as to how many people may actually need to stay in the home, but the owner was very understanding and flexible. The home was great for staging family dinners each day and provided all the cookware & starter supplies we needed. The living room had big, comfy furniture and we were all able to spread out for visits. Plenty of big fluffy towels were provided and the beds were comfortable. We loved the big washer and dryer as multiple loads of laundry were done. The yard is huge and the garage was full of outdoor games that, although we didn’t have the opportunity to use them, I imagine families would have a ball with them outside. Another item we would have loved to have been able to use was the fire pit and all the provided camp chairs! But our trip wasn’t exactly for a vacation- perhaps another time. One item I would suggest to the owner was that the back deck is in need of some attention. It’s peeling in big strips and the stairs are quite rickety. Two maintenance items (1 kitchen chair and the poor condition of the grill) were already mentioned to the host so I imagine they will be addressed. We didn’t love the reason we were there, but we very much enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is peaceful and quiet and had everything we needed!
