Cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains, nestled in the tree tops overlooking a creek

Kick back and relax in this cozy cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. Unwind on the wrap around deck or the covered patio and enjoy the waterfall sounds from the stream running through the property. Located just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to downtown West Jefferson and 40 minutes to Boone. This pet friendly cabin has been recently renovated and is located in a quiet, private community so if you're looking for a peaceful getaway this is your place!

The neighborhood is a quiet, peaceful, private community. The road to the cabin loops around the community and is a single lane dirt road. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended and required certain times of the year. When driving around the neighborhood please use caution as you may come across a car traveling the other direction. Located just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to downtown West Jefferson and 40 minutes to Boone. The mountain to sea trail is walking distance from our property. The blue ridge parkway and the neighborhood have very few street lights and the roads are dark at night. We recommend arriving before dark.

This cozy cabin is around 700 square feet of living space, it has a large wrap around deck off the main level and a patio with a large deck on the ground level. The interior has an open layout, the kitchen, dining table and living room are all in one space and is comfortable for a small group.

There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a closet. There is an additional queen bed in the loft area. The couch in the living room is also a day bed with a pull out trundle, both mattresses are twin size. Pillows and linens for all beds will be provided.

The main level has a full bathroom and there is an another full bathroom in the basement/laundry room which is only accessible from the patio. Basic amenities will be provided in the bathrooms (towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, hair dryer).

The kitchen has a full size fridge, a microwave, oven and stove. Plates, cups, utensils and most basic cooking supplies are available for use. Coffee maker and coffee bar will have enough coffee and supplies provided to at least get you through your first morning. There is not a dishwasher but all supplies for hand washing dishes are provided, the dish drying rack is located under the sink. Additional information based in frequently asked questions. There is NOT a hot tub on this property. There is not central AC, there is a small AC unit in the loft bedroom and in the lower bedroom. The heating sorces are baseboard heaters controlled by thermostat and a pellet stove in the loving room. This cabin is pet friendly and there is a pet fee of $35. Maximum amount of pets is 2.
