This is our third visit. We love staying here. There was a fire in the area (the Flat fire) during our stay and the host made sure we had the information we needed to be aware of what was happening and to stay safe. I appreciated her staying in touch and checking in.

Great location for exploring Central Oregon and Sisters. We would have given it 5 stars if the tv would have been more user friendly which, I believe, is being rectified. We used both bbq’s and ate most breakfasts and dinners there so appreciated the full service kitchen and enjoyed comfortable bedrooms.

Great location

Several friends and I stayed here for an event we were attending in Sisters. Love that this house is in an area of large lots surrounded by trees. The house was clean and comfy for the 4 of us and the kitchen was well stocked.

Our third stay

This has become our go-to family vacation spot. Host is gracious and helpful and the house is well-appointed. It’s an easy stay for our family—a short drive to town or outdoor activities, pool, tennis courts, huge table where we gather for for meals, big yard for playing, and comfortable porches for relaxing. Our first choice for our yearly vacation to Sisters.

Lodge Style Vacation Home

This is a beautiful, lodge style vacation home. Spacious yet cozy! Beds are super comfortable with one on main floor for those who cannot do stairs. 4 beds are Queen or larger! Had a wonderful stay!

Owned and operated by Bill and Joan, and Dave and Kathy Power, it is our family vacation home and we wish to share it with you!!

We've been blessed with great careers, good health, a wonderful family and many dear friends!!! Our motto is 'WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER'!

We asked ourselves, if we could invest in our future and the future of our children and their children, what might the best investment be??? The answer seemed perfectly clear to Dave (my husband) as we passed this wonderful cabin again and again!! “That's it!”, he'd exclaim, as we'd continue driving, searching for a lesser home. “That's it, that's the one!”
So, we finally pulled in and peeked around. As it turned out, it really was it!!!!

Dave and I reside in Salem, with our American Eski’s, near our adult children and grandchildren!

Dave operates Dave Power Automotive and Marine, while I enjoy helping home buyer’s and seller’s realize their real estate dreams!

Bill and Joan live in Sisters. They fell in love with Central Oregon first, having resided here back in the '60's After working as a teacher and scientist in the Salem area for over 30 years, they returned to beautiful Central Oregon to enjoy the sunshine and scenery!

Collectively, we've been married over100 years! Our son, Jake married his beautiful bride, Jenny in a delightfully picturesque backyard wedding (here) in August 2014!

Pool, tennis, basketball and miles of bike riding trails all within our village!
I love waking up to deer, a blanket of snow on the ground or nonstop sunshine, and the wind whispering through the Ponderosa Pines.

Our home is situated on a half acre, in lovely Tollgate, a peaceful, family friendly villiage just a 5 minute drive to the heart of downtown Sisters!

Convenient to everything Central Oregon offers:

Suttle Lake, fly fishing the Metolius, hiking to the head of Jack, Mt Washington, Mt Jefferson, Black Butte, Willamette National Forest, Hoodoo, Mt. Bachelor, Bend, Smith Rock, High Desert Museum, swimming, kayaking, boating, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, fishing, hiking, biking, golfing, high mountain lakes, exploring, spelunking, hot springs, streams, and delightful downtown Sisters were a few deciding factors in our selection of this wonderful slice of heaven on earth.

You won't want to leave, we never do.
