Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. This is a 2 story guesthouse located one block away from Tryon Palace. It is very walkable from all the nice restaurants in downtown New Bern. It is newly renovated and updated. All the appliances and furnitures are new. Large bedroom on the 2nd floor with king bed and convertible sofa. Kitchen is very well equipped. Good coffee/tea are provided. Toiletries included. Laundry on site. If baby things are needed, let us know in advance.

Convenient location and pleasant stay.

Great location for visiting New Bern. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of places to relax from multiple couches inside to two patios. House was well stocked with everything you might need.

The location was incredible, walking to town each day was easy and fun. The house itself was great, it had everything we needed to feel at home. The historic charm of the home was endearing, the living room was comfortable for a rainy movie night, and the front porch was idyllic - our favorite spot.

Amazing House in a great location walkable to everything that New Bern has to offer

We spent a great extended weekend in this lovely home right next to Tryon palace and walkable to everything. It has a great front porch and was well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The communication with Mike was seamless and the check in/out process was simple.

Great location

Michael was great to work with. We had to add a night and Michael was able to accommodate us with the change. Property was in a wonderful location, close to everything in town. It was clean and comfortable. If I’m headed back to New Bern I’ll stay here again.

Downtown New Bern

Very charming older home with all the comforts of a modern home. Property was clean, well equipped with more than enough space for 5 adults and 3 kids. Loved all the TV's! Great location. Wonderful host who communicated the entire time. Would definitely recommend this VRBO!

The location was Aces! Easy walk to downtown restaurants, shopping, nightlife, all events at the Tryon Palace! We stayed for a month and enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning. People were friendly and we knew several neighbors by the time we left. We would rent it again!

Fantastic location that’s very walkable

Some friends and I were up for a memorial service so we were happy to find a house that would allow a single night reservation in the location we needed. Mike was extremely friendly and communicative. The house was very spacious and had a nice front and back porch. It’s around the corner from downtown shops and restaurants.

Historic downtown

This clean and cozy VRBO is positioned perfectly within historical downtown Newbern. The Tryon Palace is directly across the street. Atlantic beach is 45 minutes away. You are in walking distance to many different types of restaurants. It was a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. We will be staying here again.

GREAT HOUSE!!! GREAT LOCATION!!

Fantastic historic home that’s been recently renovated to include everything you need!! Great location in the heart of New Berns historic district within walking distance of all the downtown shops and restaurants. And directly across from Tryon Palace. Comfortable beds, lots of space to spread out, and most importantly we felt very safe in the home and neighborhood. Our host Mike was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in New Bern.

Perfect location- great property

This place is walking distance to historic sites, restaurants, shops and parks. Hosts have put a lot of thought into the property. Kitchen has everything a cook could need. Things are labeled and easy to find. Furniture is attractive and conducive to family get togethers. The front and back porches add more options for socializing. The neighborhood is full of beautiful historic homes. Televisions in every room ( unused since there was so much to do nearby). Desks and reliable Wi-fi in every bedroom if working or studying.

Roomy Accommodations in an Excellent Location.

This property is very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The location is within walking distance to the downtown tourist attractions. Plenty of restaurants nearby and about two blocks from the riverfront. The kitchen had everything needed for our stay and a very well stocked complimentary coffee station. The home had five large televisions with all the major apps. This was a nice touch to wind down at the end of a pleasant day in New Bern. Home was modernized but kept the old hometown charm. We were in town for a three-day family trip. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Booking and check-in were super easy. If you book here, you will not be disappointed.
