Premier Golfside Getaway | Coastal Gallery

Permit Number: RBL23-000153
The Space: Welcome to Coastal Gallery, a warm and inviting island retreat tucked along the Turtle Point Golf Course on beautiful Kiawah Island. Overlooking the 8th hole and a peaceful lagoon, this 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home offers a relaxed setting where nature, comfort, and coastal living come together.

Inside, the home is filled with natural light and thoughtfully designed for gathering and unwinding. The fully equipped kitchen features counter seating and flows easily into the dining area, perfect for shared meals. The airy, double-height living room, with skylights and a large Smart TV, invites you to kick back after a day in the sun.

Step outside to enjoy the island breeze on the screened-in porch, ideal for al fresco dining, or stretch out on the expansive deck while watching golfers pass by. A private second-floor study offers a quiet escape with a work space, Smart TV, and a curated collection of beach reads.

The first floor includes comfortable guest rooms with king beds, private baths, and deck access, while the kids’ room features four full-size beds and its own ensuite. Upstairs, the serene primary suite is a true retreat with a king bed, Smart TV, and a spa-like bathroom with soaking tub and walk-in shower.

Just one mile from the beach, near the Roy Barth Tennis Center, and minutes from the shops and dining of Freshfields Village, Coastal Gallery is the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the best of Kiawah Island.

You’ll also enjoy access to our digital Guest Guides, featuring our favorite local spots, home details, and curated amenities designed to make your visit seamless and memorable.

If there’s anything we can do to elevate your stay, just let us know — we’re here for you!
The Neighbourhood: Welcome to one of South Carolina’s most unspoiled barrier islands. Less than 25 miles from the bustling streets of Historic Charleston, Kiawah Island extends into the Atlantic Ocean, revealing ten miles of sandy shoreline to the undulating surf. As part of South Carolina’s fabled Lowcountry, the Island is a nature enthusiast’s paradise of lush maritime forests and winding saltwater marshes where local flora and fauna thrive…and visitors feel like they’re a world away. Please note, Kiawah Island has a very strict town ordinance. No property should leave bikes beach gear or any other items outside in view from the street after dark. Guest may incur a citation if the nightly safety patrol see's these items out.

Access to Kiawah
Kiawah Island is a gated private community with access limited to property owners and guests of the resort or rental agencies. Guests will have a car pass awaiting them at the security gate upon arrival. Please call us with the names of additional drivers in your party that will need a pass. No vehicles will be permitted on the island without a pass.

Dining and Local Food
Restaurants range from casual and quick to world-class experiences. You will find a few convenience stores located throughout the island and a grocery store located in Freshfields Village. Watch for family fun activities at the Freshfields Village during the summer. Concerts, movies, farmers markets, and antique cars shows.

The Beach and Activities
Strolling down the sun-filled beach and bike riding on the hard-packed sand are popular activities among many visitors. Other activities on Kiawah’s beach include surfing, kayaking, shelling, fishing, and plenty of wildlife viewing. If you’re lucky, you will catch a glimpse of dolphins playing in the gentle surf. From mid-May until early August, Loggerhead turtles lay their eggs in the soft sand of the dunes.

The lush dunes and beaches of Kiawah Island boast over 300 species of both migratory and non-migratory birds. To ensure that the natural habitats of these species remain intact, extraordinary care is taken to protect the natural habitats, making Kiawah Island a wildlife sanctuary.

GOLF
Experience what many consider to be the finest collection of golf courses in the world. Each has its own unique features and all of them are beautiful to admire. The 4 world-class, public courses on Kiawah include Cougar Point, Turtle Point, Osprey Point, and The Ocean Course. Oak Point is also open to the public and is located right off the island.

Biking on Kiawah
Are you catching a trend? Bicycling is a great way to see more of the island that cannot be seen by car! There are over 30 miles of paved biking paths on the island, and in 2010, the path from Kiawah Island to Freshfields Village opened. Either bring your bikes from home if you’re traveling by vehicle or rent them while you’re here. Most of the rental agencies in the area will deliver them directly to your accommodation on the island with no additional fee.

Tennis on Island
Kiawah was rated America’s #1 Tennis Resort by Tennis Magazine. There are two racquet clubs on the island under the direction of former touring pro Roy Barth. One is located in East Beach and the other in West Beach. Guests will need to call the Roy Barth Center to request a court time and check on seasonal fees to play tennis. There is a charge for the use of the courts on Kiawah.

Lovely lodging, beautiful island

The home is beautiful, and we loved our stay. We were in awe over the four-bed-room for the kids. They loved it; it was perfect and lovely. There was a morning of extremely heavy wind, rain, and thunder, and the perfect place was to sit on the screened porch and watch the rain blow sideways as we sipped our tea. The 20 minute walk to the beach was easy and fascinating as we admired the beautiful homes along the way and the light sand beach provided much fun and adventure. Our visit was wonderful and relaxing.

House has quite a bit of deferred maintenance. It seemed like it was in better shape last time we stayed there. Need to clean pine straw from gutters, pressure wash deck, clean deck furniture. Also need to stock kitchen with a few basics - napkins, salt & pepper. Also the garbage disposal is difficult to use as we could only get it to work on one occasion.
