Lake Lure Mountain Bungalow - Pet Friendly. Cozy home with fenced in yard!

Lake Lure is ready for your visit! Our cozy Lake Lure Mountain bungalow has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation. The front porch has rocking chairs and antique metal chairs to enjoy fresh air. The back porch also has rocking chairs and provides seclusion from any neighbors. Minutes away from the Lake Lure beach area, the Tryon International Equestrian Center, and Chimney Rock, the area is known for hiking, swimming, boating, etc. (Lake Lure is where Dirty Dancing was filmed and Bat Cave is where The Last of the Mohicans was filmed.) Chimney Rock offers lots of gift shops and eateries where you can grab your souvenirs. Your fur babies are welcome at our home for a small fee as the yard is completely fenced in with a lockable gate for added security. There is some Highway 9 Lake Lure traffic noise but box fans are available to help. Also included is a stackable washer/dryer with detergent so that you can wash your clothes before you head home! The kitchen includes all the paper products you should need in addition to cleaning supplies. Also glass dishes, coffee mugs, glasses, silverware, blender, crock pot, toaster, mixer are provided. The living room has very comfortable sofa and oversized recliner. The sofa also reclines on both sides. We have been told that our home is the most comfortable they have ever staying in. It's just a relaxing place to be. Flat screen tv's are in the living room and each bedroom. Coffee makers are available with regular coffee and pods included. Beach towels and sand chairs are also available. We also provide corn hole boards and bags and lots of board games and puzzles. If you've never visited the Lake Lure area, I have included some pictures of the beautiful mountain and lake scenery. Brochures are available on the desk with information about the area including the wonderful restaurants. An Ingles grocery store and Dollar General are about 1/2 mile toward Lake Lure. Our internet is with Spectrum. we use YouTube tv. Please contact me if you have any questions. You may contact me 24/7. Thank you!

We enjoyed our visit to Mill Spring. The puppies love the large fenced yard. Nearby parks and Chimney Rock are a must see.

Lovely cottage

This was our fifth stay and it was wonderful as always. We can’t wait until Chimney Rock and Lake Lure are up and running again.

Quiet Mountain Getaway

This sweet cottage offers a great retreat for a calming weekend getaway. Nearby hiking, fishing and shopping are a plus, but just enjoying the solitude is the highlight.

Peaceful Getaway

This little cottage offers guests a chance to relax in the foothills of North Carolina. It is a short drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. There are hiking trails nearby. The large fenced yard is perfect for puppies.

Lake Lure Escape

The property was set up with Christmas decorations which was perfect for our family. Great escape for the holidays, and the owner was very quick to respond.

Annual Lake Lure vidit

My mom and I found this sweet house just after we opened up after Covid in 2021. We loved it and we’re so excited to get to go back each year. Next year we’re gonna try an autumn visit!

The best place for my family

The house is super clean, cozy, everything is available, whatever you need is there. It looks way better than the pictures, big front and back yard, fun outdoor games, a grill, board games for the family, tons of towels and blankets, I enjoyed the family pics and small decorations. No words to describe the location of the house is in the middle of a green heaven

Too close to highway and traffic. Home was ok as were the home amenities. Host was quick to address a small problem we had. If this property was located on a side road away from rt9 traffic would rate higher. Just too much traffic noise for those not used to it.

Little house next to the road

Little old house right next to busy road. Lots of cars, motorcycles and trucks flying by, a lot with with noisy exhausts. Queen bed in front bedroom is very firm but sinks in the middle. TV in Livingroom only has streaming channels and Wi-Fi is intermittent. (satellite) Did not try the ones in each bedroom. We did not use the Wi game system but there are lots of games for it. The fenced yard was good for our dog. Would have been better if it was mowed before we arrived. Host left an ample amount of drinks in the fridge, coffee, towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, blankets and pillows. The chair and couch were comfortable. A plus was having a washer and dryer in the house. It's only 3-4 miles to Lake Lure.
