A'HH LURE!!!
Step back in time with this charming 1950s updated lake retreat. No details have been spared. Your cozy getaway awaits in Lake Lure at this lovely house. With two bedrooms, including a queen bed and a sofa bed (with 6" Memory Foam Mattress), it comfortably hosts guests looking for a relaxing retreat. The house features an update kitchen with all new appliances and a dining area with a wonderful view of the lake. There are two full bathrooms, each with a refreshing shower and a hair dryer for convenience. Guests will appreciate that every level has its own mini-split HVAC unit, set them to your needs without bothering your companion guests. Off the 2nd level there is a small deck with a Gas Grill and Blackstone griddle, absolutely perfect for enjoying peaceful morning coffee or tranquil evening relaxation. Also, there is a boathouse @ lake level with a screened porch with a ceiling fan and small refrigerator. If you are brave enough to jump off the top deck, feel free, there's 24 ft. of water below at full pond! Paddleboards, Kayaks and a large floating dock will assist you when enjoying the lake. Dining is a less than 2 minute walk across the street with a newly constructed Marina due to open Spring 2026 and the Ingles grocery store is right around the corner .5 miles away. If you choose to go into town, Chimney Rock and more fine dining experiences as well as other activities are a simple 7 minute ride away. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of adventure or preparing for a night out, this gorgeous space offers everything you need. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember. PLEASE NOTE THE LAKE IS NOT OFFICIALLY OPEN UNTIL MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. IF YOU BOOK PRIOR TO THAT YOU MOST LIKELY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN OR ON THE WATER.

Perfect Lake Lure Stay

Great stay. Perfect for small family. The house was very clean & nicely updated. The kayaks and stand up paddle boards were a great amenity. My kids loved jumping onto the water from the dock! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to relax!

We absolutely loved this property and location. It's the perfect place to slow down and relax, and enjoy the beauty of Lake Lure. Having the kayaks were a huge plus as well. The property was super clean and very well maintained, and the amenities were abundant and very nice. Hope to go again one day!

We had a great extended weekend at Ahh Lure. The house was beautiful and location excellent. We enjoying swimming and using the kayaks and paddle boards. Sitting on the balcony for morning coffee was peaceful and great way to start the day. We look forward to returning.

Great Location

We really enjoyed having access to the water just outside our door. Sitting in the screened in porch is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. We walked over to the Lake House for dinner and had a good meal. Would recommend.

Cute house, extremely clean, great dock/deck right on the water. Having access to kayaks and SUP boards was awesome, watch out for snakes though! House had everything we needed and then some. We weren’t 15 minutes on the road heading home when my wife started planning our return.

WONDERFUL

This place is a dream! It is exactly as advertised. If I had a complaint or suggestion it would be to purchase a different mattress. I am a very picky sleeper so it wouldn’t be fair to say a very firm mattress would impact everyone in a negative way. PLEASE make this a destination! It is immaculate and the manager is so responsive and kind!

A Perfect Couples +1 Vacation Home

This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past. We never saw anyone actually catch a fish but the lake was lively with fish jumping at dusk. The home itself was very clean and contained modern appliances. There was plenty of cookware and other kitchen essentials for us. We enjoyed using the available kayaks and paddle boards to get out onto the lake as well.

Wonderful house with a gorgeous view!

The house is so perfect, especially for 2 people. The location is awesome, right on the lake with amazing views and easy kayaking. It’s conveniently located near Chimney Park Village, golf, and other fun things to do. Plus really close to a grocery store. The house itself is really nice, like it was recently updated. It had everything we needed that you would expect plus lots of nice extras like nightlights near stairs, labeled lights, charging stations near the bed, plenty of towels, and extra blankets. We would definitely stay here again. Like the listing said, there are a lot of stairs, but we didn’t mind. We didn’t have any issues checking in. The instructions/rules for the home were simple and easy to follow. Highly recommend this house!
