Enter the front door to the cozy den / office / TV area and continue toward the back of the house through the fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher and dining area. Next, pass into the great room with fireplace and a jaw-dropping expansive view of the back decks, dock, and shimmering riverfront.

The house allows convenient separation of different families (or peace and quiet from the children) with one large bedroom and bathroom downstairs and two bedroom and bath upstairs.

Driveway parking accommodates up to four vehicles; no overnight street parking.

A walk or quick bike ride 1/2 mile to downtown McHenry with bars, shops, nightlife, and Metra train service to Chicago.

The Fox River connects by waterway to the Chain O'Lakes with access to beaches, boating, swimming, beach, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, and more. Tour the river and stop off at a number of bars and restaurants with boat parking.

Nearby beaches, marinas, Blarney's Island, Volo Auto Museum, roller skating, movie theater, horseback riding, farmers market, pumpkin patches, apple picking, walking trails, nearby parks and nature areas, and more.
