This unit is centered in the lower Cove, & within walking/riding distance of a 9 hole golf course, restaurants, galleries, beaches, and more! One of the best locations in Shelter Cove, sitting parallel to the airstrip, with an incredible ocean view. Equipped with a full kitchen, full bath, a deck with a BBQ, yard space and boat parking.

This is a great little apartment that has been nicely remodeled. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom worked well. Pretty much anything is at a walkable distance. We very much enjoyed our stay and recommend this vacation opportunity

Loved my visit to this venue as staying at one of the local Shelter Cove hotels, was over-priced from what it used to be. I will definitely plan my return to this property for my next trip to Shelter Cove.

Shelter Cove Convenience

My wife and I enjoyed a three night stay at the Comfort Cove VRBO in Shelter Cove California. The property was conveniently located near various eating establishments and a wonderful nature trail. This property met all our needs, and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to anyone considering a stay in Shelter Cove.

The people, the place, the views, Shelter Cove, what a special place. The hostess was fabulous. The owner above could not have been more hospitable and friendly! We want to live here. It is pretty spectacular.

GS XIX Kayak Angling Tournament

This is my second year to stay at Comfort Cove for the annual "Gimme Shelter" (GS) kayak fishing tournament and community event. I came back because my experience last year was so positive. Last year I was here solo, this year my wife came along. It's close to the activities near the campground meeting pavilion and boat launch. My wife says she loves that king size bed. The view is great. We discovered a new nearby restaurant, the Surf Point Coffee Shop & Bistro for breakfasts and lunch and the nearby Gyppo Ale Mill for dinner. Great times @ Shelter Cove.

Gimme Shelter Eighteenth Annual Kayak Gathering

I was here for the Gimme Shelter Eighteenth Annual Kayak Gathering. The location was perfect. I used the oven to bake two native blackberry pies for the event potluck dinner. I parked my car with kayak on top in the provided parking area. It worked out well. I was able to rinse the salt water from my kayak gear with the host's permission after a successful (awesome) day fishing. I had a wonderful time.
