Golden Acres Barn is a open, light and bright space located 8 miles from Downtown Highlands, in a private, quiet, serene area of Highlands close to the scenic bypass of Highlands which features numerous waterfalls and gorgeous hikes and views within Nantahala National Forest.

Golden Acres Barn is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 36x30 converted barn designed with those coming to the area to vacation & enjoy some mountain air in mind. As you arrive you will be welcomed with our giant windows allowing light and mountain views to flood into the space, allowing the outside in. As you enter the open floor plan, living, dining room, and kitchen area allowing guests to spend time together watching tv, cooking or enjoying a meal. Our Barndo's kitchen is fully equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, air fryer, crockpot, and ninja blender, along with kuerig coffee maker, with coffee pods & creamers. Dining area with custom made table for 6 with Mountain View backdrop. Living Room has large 70" TV, comfy sofa & chair for those Netflix nights.

On this main level is two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the king size bedroom with attached bathroom with double vanity, custom shower and full size stackable large capacity washer and dryer. King bedroom has its own tv and closet along with deck/mountain window view.

On the other side of the centered staircase is the queen bedroom equipped with its own tv and sitting space for those wanting a little quiet time. Convenient to the queen room and open floor plan is a full 2nd bathroom with tub/shower combo.

Upstairs in the light and bright loft is another sitting area with sofa, coffee table foosball, large screen tv, air hockey game table, and the 3rd bedroom with twin size day bed and additional twin size trundle.

But don't plan on spending all of your time inside, outside has it's own amazing features and amenities. Off the kitchen/dining area is a beautiful deck with mountain views, and large grassy area. Deck has gas grill, sitting/rocking chair area, outdoor dining for 6, and new hot tub for 6.

Just across from the front door is our fire pit area set back in the private/creekside tree space, where privacy and serenity make for the ultimate fireside experience.

For those getting away and hitting the road in their Electric vehicle a level 2 charger is set and ready for use, with the town of Highlands & Franklin having additional charging stations as well.

Golden Acres Barn is waiting w/ spacious acreage surround, close to the town of Highlands, numerous waterfalls & memories to be made.

Guest will have access to the entire Barn, deck, and personal fire pit.
Driveway is shared with Golden Acres Ranch. Available to rent together or separately.
