Modern Cabin Close to Downtown

Welcome to The Charlotte, a quiet escape from the busy world, located on 6+ acres, 13 min from downtown Nashville. Perfect for remote workers or a few nature-lovers, we can’t wait to have you.
Enjoy a retreat-like vibe immersed in nature and convenience. Up in the woods with a killer view, you’ll forget you’re 3 miles from Target, Dollar General and a myriad of shopping. Take a hike in the woods, get lost in a book on the deck or head a few miles down the street to kayak the Harpeth River.
The space
The Charlotte is a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom top floor chalet that shares our 6 acre property. The bottom floor is vacant but is not yet ready for guests. Our house is located on the next lot and is completely separate from the Charlotte. You’ll have:

-Bedroom with queen bed

-Bedroom with twin bed; doubles as an office with desk for working remotely

-Common area with sleeper sofa and chaise

-Fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, french press, keurig coffee pot, teapot, and cookware.

-Shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap

-High-speed internet and smart TV

-Games, books

-Private balcony/deck and tons of outdoor deck space for hanging out, reading, relaxing

-Outdoor picnic table

-Outdoor grill / smoker

-Seamless check in/check out with keypad entry


*please note that we have a gentle giant dog that roams the property. Let us know before booking if any issue with dogs. Thanks!

This is a top floor chalet with an outdoor staircase. It is not handicap accessible at this time. The bottom floor is not yet available and will be handicap accessible when it becomes available.

NO PETS
There are several pet resorts close to our property (Pet Resorts of America and Go Dog).

We have a Cane Corso dog named Belly Button. He is very friendly and roams the property, making sure the deer aren’t getting out of hand. We also have a outdoor kitty that roams around and will most likely want to be your friends. He is NOT allowed inside the cabin. Please touch base with us before booking if pets are a problem for you.

You’re in nature here - there will be bugs now and then as well as owls, hawks, birds making noises. Acorns falling, rain falling, etc can be heard when hitting the metal roof.

Do not leave trash or food outside- animals will come visit.

No parties.

Per normal, please do not flush any feminine products or wipes. We are on a septic system and it can easily be clogged.

No confetti or glitter ($250 charge)

No tape on the walls

No smoking or vaping in the unit. $500 fine charged for smoking in the unit. If you smoke outside, be sure to put out the butts in the ashtray. We are in the woods and must do all we can to avoid fires.

No outdoor fires. Serious penalties if this is attempted.

My husband is a landscape architect. There will be product and machinery around the property at times. We also spend a lot of time working in the yard. Ask about any of the landscaping- we love to talk plants!
