The location was perfect…close to town, kayaking, and hikes. The home was very comfortable and very well appointed….it had everything we needed. Plenty of room to spread out. The yard was great…our pup had so much space to play ball. The fire pit was an added bonus…making s’mores was a great way to end our week.

Short stay

Property was wonderful. The only exception was that the heat/ac was virtually impossible to work. It would be beneficial if detailed yet simple instructions were provided just as they were for the lights, internet etc.. All in all, a great place to stay.

Perfect place for families wanting to snow ski or enjoy Lake George

First of all, the check in is easy and was very well organized. The host will send you helpful information that spells everything out. The house is plenty big enough for everyone to spread out. The mud rooom had many thoughtful touches like a heated floor and plenty of seating to take off your snow boots. The dining room had enough seats for everyone in our party with extra at the island. No eating at shifts required! The property was private & looks like it would be great for kids during the Summer. I appreciated the little touches like automatic lighting which illuminates the stairs upon your arrival in the evenings. Salt was even provided to help keep the ice at bay. The host was very responsive, which is so helpful. Although, we had no issues at all during our stay. The nearest grocery store is only 4 miles away. It is a quiet spot, which is what we prefer. Skiing at Gore mountain was about 35 minutes away. The town of Lake George was about 35 minutes as well. In the winter, there are only a handful of restaurants open in Bolton Landing. The ample kitchen served us well as we cooked dinners for our party of 7. It alows pets, so it was perfect for us. I would whole heartedly recommend a stay at Camp David, go ahead and book it today!

Great accommodations, perfect getaway!

Everything was perfect for our weekend getaway with our family. This beautiful home was everything that we expected and more and we are a tough group to satisfy! The owner, Maria, was extremely responsive with communicating and we will definitely be back in the future! Thank you for allowing us to make a great memory!

Lovely house and owners!!

We had such a great time at Camp David! Maria is a great communicator and a lovely person. The house is beautiful and in a great location. Fully stocked kitchen with everything one could need. We really appreciated the little extra touches of soap, essential kit etc. can’t wait to come back!

Fall getaway

Went for a fall getaway long weekend with my family (6 adults and 3 children).The house lived up to our expectations and provided us with everything we needed.The weather was perfect and we got to take advantage of the fire pit. Would definitely return to Camp David.

Great Stay for Family Trip to Camp David

We had an excellent stay at this property for a family trip :)(10 people: 2 seniors, 2 children, 2 tween/teens, 4 adults) It is spacious, beautiful, there was really nothing bad to say. It seems the owners have thought of everything, and were super communicative! Thank you again!

The Best Weekend Away

My cousins decided to take a trip to Lake George as a nostalgia trip; unfortunately it rained the entire weekend. Thankfully, this house had the best accommodations we could ask for. We played games and cooked amazing meals. I highly recommend staying here. You won’t even need to venture far to go to the lake if that’s what you’re here for but you can also have fun inside!

Family healing time

An amazing weekend stay with my kids and granddaughter. Camp David lived up to everything it was advertised to be. Comfortable and cozy and the perfect gathering place for our family. Plenty of sleeping space for nine of us... could have fit more! And the pet friendly accommodations made sure we were able to include the entire family. Great memories were made!

Great digs in Bolton!

Camp David is an amazingly comfortable home. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. One thing that stands out is how well equipped the kitchen is. We are used to bringing our own knives, cutting boards, pots and pans. Not necessary here. Not only is there plenty of cooking necessities, they didn’t skimp on quality. Such a pleasure to cook. Thank you Camp David (and Maria). We will be back.

Thanksgiving getaway

Camp David was all it advertised to be and more. We all had a great time in this wonderful home. It was well equipped with everything you could think of. The only thing that could have been better was the hot water. It did not get hot enough for a nice shower especially after a cold evening out. I would strongly recommend this house for a fun vacation.

Beautiful and serene cabin

Wonderful cabin with wonderful yard in a great neighborhood. Inviting space with so much charm. My 6 year old told me it was the best cabin she has ever seen :). PS my dogs loved our trip too. Thank you Maria!

Fabulous Home Rental

Everything was just perfect at this house. Cleanliness, kitchen appliances and supplies, fire pit , wrap around porch and the children’s sandbox which my 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed !! The area is quiet and serene but close to the town of Bolton where there are number ours shops and restaurants ! Maria was the best ! Thank you both again for a wonderful vacation!!

Bolton Lake Vacation Magic

The house and property at Camp David was amazing! Beautiful, comfortable and unique home which was perfect for our Family and grandchildren. Indoors offered plenty of space with all of the amenities. Outside included a playground and a spacious yard. The location was wonderful, near the lake, town and hiking trails. Our hosts were attentive, informative and gracious. We will definitely rebook this lovely home next vacation!

Beautiful Home

My family and I spend the weekend up in Lake George and we couldn’t have been happier with Camp David. The house accommodated 7 adults plus 1 toddler and a dog perfectly. Everyone had their own space in the house. Everything was so clean and well kept plus you couldn’t beat the distance to Bolton Landing. Wifi was strong for those of us remote working. Would highly recommend.

Vacation Weekend

We stayed at Camp David for my niece’s wedding over Memorial Day weekend in Bolton Landing. We were so pleased to be in this quiet, secluded, “nature” setting away from the traffic/congestion of the town but yet so close to activities we wanted to partake in. It was so well appointed for all, kids and adults. We highly recommend it!

We built this house in 2008 as we have been spending all of our summers and most weekends here in Bolton Landing, NY. As the boys are getting bigger we try to travel more and we spend part of the summer in Estonia, Europa where I am from we felt that renting out the house for some time would make sense. Now is your option to enjoy this immaculate Family Vacation Retreat Camp David - we love it here, we take good care of it!!!
