This awesome space combines the beauty, privacy, and tranquility of the surrounding woodlands with some truly amazing amenities, like an outdoor wood-burning fireplace, smart TV, comfortable seating, brand new hot tub, a flattop grill, a traditional propane grill, and a wood-burning outdoor pizza oven! Elsewhere outside, you'll find a fire pit, a swing for the kids, and a corn hole set. If you are someone who likes to play and relax outdoors, this home is for you! Between the outdoor fireplace and the inside, the home boasts a staggering four fireplaces: one wood-burning fireplace on the deck, one wood-burning fireplace in the sunroom, one gas fireplace in the living room, and one gas fireplace in the lower level game room. Talk about cozy! Here's some more crazy numbers for you: the game room is equipped with an arcade game machine loaded a whopping 2200 different games! More of a traditionalist? The game room also has a pool table, comfortable sectional, smart TV and wet bar available to entertain you. Great Big House for a couple of Families

The house was very spacious, very clean, and great communication with the hosts.The pizza oven and outside fireplace was addition to our time.Would gladly vacation there again.

Cozy cabin getaway

This stay absolutely exceeded my expectations and then some. Such a beautiful interior and exterior and the perfect large space for catching up with lifetime friends and their families. I can definitely see us making this our special annual trip!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a spot close to the hot spots, but cozy all to itself.

The house was clean, spacious, and totally tucked away—super quiet and secluded from neighbors, which made it feel like our own private retreat.Great setup for grilling, hanging out on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub, and watching football all day Sunday.

Very nice cabin and very well kept. There is plenty of room so you can have the maximum allowable number of guests and not feel like you’re living on top of each other.We loved the fact that there are no other cabins directly next door so it FEELS a little more like camping and we were able to enjoy our privacy. The pizza oven is an awesome add on too!

Amazing home!

We had a group of 14 people stay here for 3 nights and we had an amazing time. The house was absolutely beautiful and there was more than enough space for everyone. Having a fire pit was awesome and we spent a lot of time there hanging out and having fires. Very close to nearby places only a short drive away. We also loved how quiet it was around us. We would definitely stay here again!!

Our group had a fun time in this awesome house. It was decorated nicely and none of us found any fault with it, and it was very comfortable for our group of 10. There was certainly room for more. Hot tub was used a lot!We would stay here again in a heartbeat

Absolutely a wonderful home!!

Stayed here for a family reunion with 7 adults and 5 kids. It was fabulous! Everything that we needed and more was available. The home was clean and well planned. The downstairs was perfect for the 2 families with kids while the upstairs was perfect for those of us who did not have kids. Everyone LOVED the place and wants to come back every year. I would highly recommend.

Awesome Vacation!

Our friend group of 6 couples takes a fall trip to Deep Creek every year. This year we went with Hemlock Hideaway and were absolutely blown away. The house has plenty of space for everyone to spread out but also has a great layout to bring everyone together too. The outdoor cooking space and hang out space is incredible. The peace and serenity you get in the middle of the woods, but still with such a close drive to everything is amazing. They thought of everything for this home and we can't wait to book it again next year!

Six adults and four children spent seven days at Hemlock Hideaway. The house was all we could have hoped for! Lori was very responsive, check-in was smooth, the house was clean, kitchen was exceptional. The griddle and grill on the porch saw use, the pizza oven did not. Next time! Several parks are within a half-hour drive; we hit four of them. If you like to hike, I suggest the trail system at Deep Creek Lake State Park. There's a nice little beach there as well. We only rented a pontoon boat one day. We used Aquatic Center and all went smoothly. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

The home was very private and was exactly what we were looking for a family reunion. A lovely and spacious and well equipped home. Though private, it was close to restaurants, state parks… A lot to do for all ages. Very pleased.The main TV off the kitchen and the dining area worked but the other ones in the bedrooms we were not able to get on. Something that I believe would be easily fixed. The arcade game also did not work, but they will be fixing it. We were there to get outside, have fires in the fire pit , lean back in the rocking chairs on the beautiful porch and catch up with family. Again, very happy and we hope to return .
