You are invited to experience Palm Springs resort living in Midcentury Modern style. Enjoy the peace and privacy of this unique end unit condo located on a quiet street in the desirable Canyon View neighborhood of South Palm Springs. This second floor unit is conveniently located near the elevator and stairway for easy access. With nearly 1,200 square feet of living space, this spacious condo feels more like a private home with only 1 common wall and dedicated covered carport parking. Designed by architects Wexler/Harrison and built by Roy Fey, this circa 1966 home epitomizes the modernist and minimalist principles of the Desert Modern Era noted for its use of floor to ceiling glass, clerestory windows, clean lines and open floor plan melding the indoor/outdoor living spaces.
MAIN INDOOR LIVING SPACES
This fun desert retreat has been lovingly updated while still retaining many of the original features and midcentury charm. This home combines a mix of vintage décor, contemporary colorful art, white porcelain tile floors, geometric patterned rugs and modern accents. The open layout provides an ideal environment for easy entertaining or relaxing with family and friends. The living room features plenty of comfortable seating for watching your favorite movie on the 64” Smart HDTV with sound system. Walls of glass doors brighten the living space with generous natural light and lead to your own private 40 ft. long balcony overlooking the greenbelt with pool, spa and stunning desert vistas.
The bright white kitchen is fully equipped including a gas cooktop, wall oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. There are indoor and outdoor dining options to suit your entertainment needs.
BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS
Furnished with comfort and tranquility in mind, each bedroom is nicely appointed with hospitality quality linens, plenty of closet space, ceiling fans, plush area rugs and views of the mountains. The spacious primary suite is a private retreat with KING bed, 44” Smart HDTV, large closet, direct access to the balcony through glass sliding doors and spectacular mountain views. The en suite bath offers a large glass enclosed tiled walk-in shower and modern vanity with quartz counter and plenty of storage. The guest bedroom features a QUEEN bed, convenient desk for remote working, ample closet storage and direct views of the balcony and greenway. A moveable accordion wall separates the guest bedroom from the living room, providing privacy when entertaining guests and expanded living space the rest of the time. The second full bath offers a tub/shower combination and modern vanity with quartz counters and lots of storage. Plenty of towels and linens are also provided.
OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
What makes this property truly special is the expansive covered balcony that runs the full length of the home and has fabulous views that can be seen from the living room, primary and guest bedrooms. It features an outdoor dining table, Weber gas grill and nifty outdoor lounge chairs.
The meticulously maintained grounds enhance the picturesque setting with a variety of desert flora, towering mature palm trees, cacti gardens, citrus trees, lush green lawn and desert ornamentals. Spend your days soaking up the desert sunshine from the patio lounge chairs around the large community heated pool. Or, indulge yourself in the sumptuous spa under a canopy of twinkling desert stars and marvelous mountain vistas.
AMENITIES
Updated with 21st century modern conveniences, you’ll find everything necessary for a perfect desert vacation. Other amenities include an indoor stacked washer & dryer, Wifi, phone service with unlimited long distance to US and Canada and Smart HDTVs. A dedicated covered carport parking spot is also provided. OPTIONAL FEES
A utility deposit is collected for gas and electricity and the amount is based on the length of stay. We provide a monthly allowance for utilities. The actual charges above the allowance are deducted from the utility deposit and the remainder returned to the guest.

The peaceful Canyon View Estates community rests at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains in a beautifully designed country-like setting that is perfectly manicured and consistently maintained. Nearby Indian Canyon hiking and biking trails make this is an ideal community for people of all ages who walk, jog, ride bikes and hike in the warm winter sun. This property is a 5-minute drive or 15-minute bike ride to downtown Palm Springs. It’s close to Indian Canyons Golf Course, Koffi, the Ace Hotel, Purple Room and the popular El Mirasol restaurant. You’ll be able to enjoy all the activities this famous city has to offer including fine dining, shopping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, gambling and riding the PS Arial Tramway. You will also be within a mile of Smoke Tree Shopping Center with Ralph’s Fresh Fare Grocery Store, Ace Hardware and lots of casual dining. The public library and senior center are within 2 miles.
International guests will find Palm Springs to be an ideal "home base" for daytrip excursions to Southern California. Enjoy nearby Joshua Tree National Monument (an extraordinary national park set in the desert) and theme parks within a two-hour drive including Disneyland (Anaheim), Sea World (San Diego), and Universal Studios (Hollywood).

Quiet, convenient & clean
I stayed for several weeks and was very pleased with the cleanliness of the condo, freshness of the linen and amenities. The location was perfect for me as it was minutes from Indian Canyon golf club, and hiking. Also minutes from supermarkets & restaurants. The pool was great. The views spectacular. The landscaping beautiful with orange, grapefruit & lemon trees. I would stay again!

GREAT WINTER ESCAPE
The Condo is located in a fabulous quiet neighborhood close enough to Palm Springs downtown. The picturesque mountains are so relaxing. The Condo complex is well kept, with multiple landscapers tending to the many lawns, orange, lemon & grapefruit trees around the property. It is a very busy complex. The pool took a little work getting the heater to work finally. The lawn furniture could use an update...both around the pool and on the Condo back porch. The Second bedroom is not a true closed off private bedroom, the screen worked ok but was not great. High end furniture, lots of linen, blankets, towels, pillows. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, spices, which was greatly appreciated. Plates/Dishes were very heavy. Dishwasher is old and did not clean dishes very well. Laundry in the Condo was a great added bonus. Covered parking was also appreciated. And the elevator was greatly appreciated. We all enjoyed our Palm Springs Winter Escape! Thank you....
