Historic Gem is always a treat. We have stayed at this property a few times and the home is always clean, beds extremely comfortable and Rachel the host always gracious and responsive. The home is very eclectic but very tasteful and well equipped. If you have someone at VSU the home is close and the area very quiet. Plenty of space for a large group and the bedrooms are nice. Two separate areas for gathering inside, formal dining room and the backyard is massive. Don’t pass on this one if you need a short or long stay.

This is our 2d time staying at this historic home. We searched for this specific listing for the days we needed for our family event. We were in walking distance from the stadium. The home is in a great location close to VSU but away from the traffic. There was many restaurants near by as well. The home itself is beautiful it is an older home that has been beautifully renovated while still maintaining its original character. Rachel was a great host! She was very responsive and timely from beginning to end. Thanks for sharing your home with my family and I

We have stayed here multiple times and each experience has been great. The home is very historic, clean and very comfortable. Everything works great from the updated bathrooms to the AC in summer heat. The host is terrific and makes you feel welcome and important and always responds quickly. Neighborhood is quiet especially during the evening. It’s centrally located so you have access to any part of town with equal distance. There’s a Huge backyard for kids to play and the many rooms in the home are separated so that everyone can have a space to themselves if they want. It truly feels like a personal home experience.

Great stay at historic home

We loved our stay at the beautiful Steward home. Lots of great space to relax and visit with family. Very clean and lots of attention to detail with decor and charming details original to the 1940s home. It was the perfect location to stay for a few nights for a family wedding. Great communication with host and easy check in and out. Would stay there again !

The Historic Gem on Williams Street is a great super clean home. It’s unexpectedly large and well laid out for bigger groups particularly when it comes to separated spaces. The bathrooms in the bedrooms are brand new and fantastic! The location is super quiet and very close to everything. The backyard is HUGE and a great space for throwing a football or playing cornhole. Every living space is comfortable and inviting. Rachel, the host was very responsive and friendly and informative which was great. Everything you need was included and the A/C was perfect. We’ll be traveling back to the area again and this will be my first choice!
