A Cozy A-Frame near Patoka Lake and French Lick

This amazing property is great for your family festivities, fishing/hunting trip, or a simple relaxing get-a-way. It is 5 minutes from Patoka Lake, 10 minutes from downtown French Lick attractions, and a half mile from beautiful Tucker Lake. It suits a romantic get a way for couples, family, or group up to 6 people. Book with us now for your much needed retreat.

The home features a fully stocked kitchen, 4 Bedrooms, a full bathroom on the main level and a half bath upstairs. There is a large back deck providing plenty of room for grilling and entertaining. It also connects you to a separate room with card table, and full toy chest for the littles (jacuzzi seasonal Oct-April, closed May-Sept). The large living room is ready for you to relax with family and stream your favorite shows. Walk out of the master bedroom to the upper level balcony to enjoy your coffee and great views of the beautiful hard wood forest. The spiral staircase leads you to two bedrooms, each with a twin bed and one with two arcade games (Galaga and Streetfighter) and the other room having a TV. Driveway in front of home offers plenty of parking. There is a shed above home with extra parking if needed or for boat. (Do not block shed door).

The house rests on 30 acres of woods. There is a mile loop of moderate hiking trails leading down to a stream with a cool rock shelf. Trail is shared with seperate rental home in case you see other guests.

Absolutely loved the location of the property. Kitchen was equipped with what we needed to make meals. The hot tub was wonderful and liked how it was enclosed. Very nice! Hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The setting was peaceful and exactly what we were hoping for—perfect for unwinding and enjoying time together. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the entire experience seamless. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy and well-cared-for place to stay. We would happily return!

This lovely house was spotlessly clean. The photos are great, but the home is even better in person. We enjoyed time on the deck just listening to the birds and enjoying the fresh air. The beds and couches were very comfortable. The kitchen and dining room are cozy and well decorated. The entire house was well stocked. Allison was so easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. This is a quality rental and I highly recommend it.

Four golfers stayed here from Chicago.Found this home on vrbo with great reviews,the reviews were right.Everything you need is clean and in this house.Situated on 30 acres of beautiful tall trees that were beginning to change fall colors.Our GPS sent us wrong way arriving at night,but contacted host who guided us in.Would sure return.

We absolutely loved this stay! Very quiet & peaceful property. Neat trails in the woods with a creek. Arcade games were a big hit with the kids(7 & 9). The house was clean, shower was very small. Highly recommend!

Overall, everything was great. It was a nice little cabin to use for a girls weekend/momcation. It was clean and stocked, so we were able to just relax and enjoy the area - which is exactly what we wanted. We really appreciated how communicative the hosts were. We really loved the rustic vibe in the kitchen but also the plush comfortability and modern amenities of the living space. The place was very roomy in general; we didn’t feel like we were staying in an A-frame at all. We loved having access to trails even if we didn’t use them. We absolutely LOVED being able to interact with the host initially, even if unintentionally, because you don’t usually get that with rentals anymore. They were friendly, engaged, and inviting which put us at ease.

This house is great!! The property is very nice and clean. There is plenty of room for your whole family, you can have moments to yourself or be all together! Huge kitchen and living room, the games upstairs were so much fun, it really takes you back to being a kiddo If you want to stay in this area this is the place you should be!!! The host is fantastic and communicated very quickly! The back deck is very peaceful! Autumn would be beautiful on this property!

This cabin was amazing!! Came for a thirtieth birthday & had an amazing time. It’s absolutely beautiful on the inside and out & very spacious. If you’re looking for good hiking or even something to do with a family, try out spring mills state park about 35 mins away.
