Lovely, clean and cozy home surrounded by quiet nature. House is welcoming and well-equipped and provided us with a few days of downtime. Sunsets were stunning. We hadn’t planned for the distance from town for groceries and restaurants but the hosts were wonderful to communicate this info to us. Our only personal issue was a slightly hard mattress… younger bones may not have noticed!! We will definitely return on future trips to NS.

Very comfortable and homey for anyone looking to get away from it all. Close enough to good dining and hiking, but certainly off the beaten path. This property would be great for a family looking to unplug! We would certainly stay here again…but longer!

Relaxing stay overlooking the bay of Fundy

We had a great stay at Jason's cottage. The cottage is perfect to digital detox and switch off. There is great views of the sunsets from the deck at night. Its around a 30m drive to local towns for food and drink. Hosts were great deal with and check in was super easy. Would happily stay again.

Edge of Fundy is a unique property offering a spectacular view of the Bay and Mother Nature in all her glory. The exterior of the cottage belies the stunning wood interior with its high ceilings and many large windows facing the water. The owners take great care to provide guests with every comfort of home, including salt water taffy and Nova Scotia Honey Crisp apples.

Little slice of paradise

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the whole stay. The house is gorgeous and the property is unreal. We caught the most beautiful sunset ever and would love to stay again! Highly recommend!

We stayed for a couple nights during our road trip through Nova Scotia and absolutely loved it. The space was peaceful, clean, cozy and had an incredible view. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Jason and Mikaline were fantastic hosts - super responsive and thoughtful. Gorgeous and spacious accommodations but difficult to locate at first. The beds were extremely comfortable. The master bathroom was huge however the downstairs bathroom could use finishing. Host was very responsive. We appreciated the apples and taffy as well as the card left to welcome us.

A beautiful place to stay- lots of room. We never even investigated the lower level! Excellent communication with hosts, who even left a lovely welcome gift. Staying here was a last minute decision and I’m glad it was available, given that it was a Canadian holiday. (If you plan to cook make sure to bring all the ingredients you need as the kitchen is well outfitted with dishes, pans and appliances, but not the basic cooking spices/oils). We would definitely book again the next time we are in the area.

Clean, rustic & remote

If you are looking for a remote location to enjoy all the bay of fundy has to offer here it is! We loved the space and the size of the kitchen and main living space. We enjoyed the shoreline at low tides and trips into the Valley for other adventures.

Had a beautiful stay at Mikaline & Jason’s cottage in the Edge of Fundy. Communication from our hosts was great and they made sure we had more than we needed to enjoy our stay. Make sure you have their directions handy as service is spotty and you can’t fully relay on Google Maps. But once you’re there it’s a serene spot. Watching the sunset & the stars is a must.

Beautiful, peaceful, spacious.

Were in the area for a family wedding. Was such a lovely place to return to at the end of 5 busy days. Hosts very responsive when we forgot the keys in someone's purse. Spare set in no time! Lovely well kept grounds will lovely ocean views.

Great getaway

Very impressed with the cottage and its location. Great quiet surroundings and awsome sunset views. My grandkids had a great time and really enjoyed the gift of apples and I enjoyed the saltwater taffy. Cottage had everything we needed. Would definitely like to stay here again . Thank Yo

we had a great time in the house, it is well maintained and Jason took care that we will feel at home. important to note that it is a off grid experience, no Wi-Fi and no convenience stores in the area. for us it was great, but it is very personal

Also for highlighting two of our greatest assets - as advertised - we offer a private remote ‘unplugged’ getaway cottage about 20 minutes away from the nearest town. Just to clarify for others (as the term ‘off grid’ can suggest different things) we do enjoy full service from NS power and cell phone providers. We are very happy you enjoyed the experience!
