The Teacher’s Salary is a quiet, family friendly home in the securely gated Harbor Island beach community near Beaufort, SC. Our home is perfect for short term family vacations or long term off-season rentals for those escaping the winter. *Discounts are available based on the length of stay.
Take in the gorgeous views and the soothing sound of the ocean from a rocking chair on either balcony. Just steps from the beach, enjoy the convenience of having your feet in the sand one minute and raiding the fridge and pantry the next.
Tour the island with our golf cart (liability waiver required) and enjoy all of the amenities that Harbor Island has to offer: Pool, Gym, Tennis/Pickle Ball etc

Inside, The Teacher’s Salary has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and all of the essentials to make your stay comfortable—including a G00GLE Nest air conditioning climate maker programmed to your specifications. While TVs with Netflix, Disney, HBO and YouTube TV are available, you’re more likely to put your devices down and enjoy some board games on our family size dining table.
Outside, you will find a large backyard with plenty of room to gather. Enjoy the use of our charcoal grill, fire pit, hammock, and ping pong table.
Guest access:
The only space inaccessible by guests is the outside owners closet that is locked with a combination lock. The other large outside closet has outside toys and beach chairs.
Other things to note:
All club amenities are at no charge to the guests. Pool, gym, dog park, tennis courts, pickle ball, basketball court, golf cart (with signed waiver) are at no additional charge.
