Inside the home you are surrounded by windows where you soak in the natural environment in a treehouse-like setting. The rich, custom woodwork and cabinetry throughout the cabin creates a warm, natural feeling space.There is a soothing and grounded feel that comes from theorganic-feeling, midcentury, boho decor.Looking for a place to prepare a meal with provisions from the farmer's market? The grill on the deck andfull kitchen with gas range comes equipped withall the supplies you'll need to make a delicious meal. Prefer to leave the effort of cooking to someone else? A wide variety of dining options are within a 10 minute drive. Bring a take out home and enjoy it sitting at the dining table immersed in the natural surrounds.

Spend an evening curled up among the pillows and throw blankets on the sofa catching up on your reading or favorite Netflix shows on the Roku. Thesitting area comfortably accommodates 4, so there's room for everyone to sit, play a game from the bookshelf or engage inthe lost art of conversation. With the press of a button the candles in the woodstove will begin to flicker, providing some ambiance as evening sets in.When you're ready to retire for the evening, the separate bedroom with queen bed dressed in luxury linens awaits you. With one quick click, turn on the electric fireplace (with or without heat) for a cozy or romantic vibe. The sofa converts to a full sized futon bed and provides a second, separatesleeping space, if needed.

You can start or end your day enjoying thetwo outdoor spaces. The screened in porch, with wicker chairs and a dining table to seat four, is illuminated by Edison bulbs after dark. The brand new deck, with gasgrill and additional seating is on the opposite side of the cabin, is a wonderful place to practice your morning yoga overlooking Phoenix Mountain. Treat yourself to complimentary coffee as you drink in the new day.Once you've experienced the RETREATand begun to RELAX, get ready to head out and take in all the adventures the High Country has to offer and begin to RECHARGE. You'll find hiking, kayaking, tubing, the Blue Ridge Parkway andan endless supply of boutiques and antique shops to explore within 15 minutes of the cabin.After a busy day exploring our neck of the woods freshen up in the shower with complementary natural, personal care products before heading out to hear live local music at a brewery, winery or cidery.

Nitty Gritty Details ...

Guests will have access to the entire cabin. There are no other structures on the property and no other residents or visitors.

We are available remotely and someone local is availableshould you need assistance during your stay.

The cabin sits on a private one acre parcel from which you can just barely see two other homes. It is on a two lane road and is not in a neighborhood.

The cabin has a partially paved, partially gravel drive with room at the top of the driveway for 2 cars to park. The driveway is steep at the bottom; low clearance/sports car type vehicles may have a clearance issue andall wheel drive/4 wheel drive is suggested in the winter months. The cabin is a short 5 minute drive to Jefferson and 10 minute drive to West Jefferson.
