Beds were super comfortable and plenty of bedrooms for kids. Town was quaint and had plenty of restaurant options. Park was nearby and easily walkable even though we made other plans, it would have been a great option to get out and get around. Close to highway and perfect for us to do some sightseeing. Overall, it was a great stay.

Scott was great to communicate with, clean property in a good location with a view. All mattresses are in great shape which is hard to find in a rental! We enjoyed our time there definitely would stay again when in the area!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Harbor View Getaway. The location is excellent, being walkable to downtown and the ferry docks. The deck was perfect for our family to gather for dinner, or just hang out together. The view is great, especially for the fireworks.The unit was very clean, and nicely appointed. Plenty of room for our adult children and one grandchild to join us. Furniture and beds were very comfortable.We will stay here again.

The property has been updated nicely. The bedrooms are not small cramped rooms. All the rooms have plenty of space. It is located in walking distance to all of the shops on St Ignace.

Everything about this rental property is terrific. It’s in a perfect location as well. The kitchen has more utensils than IKEA! There is a pretty big grocery store just up the road that has pretty much anything that you’d need. Back to the apartment: we loved the very thick towels in the bathroom, so luxurious. Overall it was a great experience.

Great weekend in St. Ignace

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very nice and the location is fantastic! Walking distance to restaurants, downtown, and the island ferry. Also, we had a perfect view of the fireworks from the deck. My family and I had a fantastic weekend!

Long weekend up north

The property was nice and clean just like the pictures showed. I did not realize that there is a rental upstairs but it didnt matter because there are completely seperate entrances, we never saw the other renters. The house is located close to everything. It was perfect! We will be booking again for our next trip.

Amazing

The house was perfect for 2 couples. The location is outstanding, walked to everything we wanted to do. Big side yard with perfect grass to play cornhole and have a bon fire. The deck outside was the perfect place to watch the fireworks. Best seat in the town. We met the owner Scott and he gave us some advice on places to eat, he was spot on with suggestions. If I come back to St. Ignace I will defiantly stay here again. Thank you Scott.

Great location + great house = perfect vacation!

I visit mackinaw city every summer and from now on, I will always try and stay in St. Ignace! I loved how quiet the street was and the view from the porch was amazing. If you enjoy coffee I highly suggest taking a mug out to the porch in the morning and watching the lake. The Host was very responsive, answered any and all questions, and I would stay at any property he had for rent again. This was a summer stay and the A/C units worked great the whole time even with three kids running around. I can’t say enough good things about this property!

Girls Week

Centrally located to the town and ferry to the island. We did drive to Grand Rapids to the National Quilt Show there. Beautiful state. The listing was misleading because we thought that we were going to have a whole house. The first night, there was a screaming child upstairs. Being older ladies (over 70), we were looking for a quiet place. The owner was attentive when we had a problem and rectified it quickly. We did have a great time and are planning our next adventure!

Misleading

As per previous review, owner has divided house so you do not feel like you have a whole house as is written. Loud feet late at night and early in the morning from unit above. Owner promised months ago at time of booking he would have grill and then each day of visit said the grill "would arrive by dinner." No grill led to wasted groceries and having to spend money eating out at the last mi it that we did not plan for.

Misleading

*great location *clean and well stocked *this is not an entire home. It is a shared property. There was someone upstairs and at times was noticeably noisy. This was not a deal breaker but there was a sliding mystery door that apparently accessed the upstairs and it could be easily entered with little force. This was brought to our attention when the owner knocked on our door in the morning requesting access to retrieve a golf jacket that he forgot. He accessed this item through the door which ended up being a stairway to the upstairs. So what would have happened if we were out or still asleep? These two things made us very uncomfortable so we decided to cut our trip short a day. Unit does have AC though very noisy window units.

Everything was great except one thing.

The house was perfect for my family and we had a great time. The location was ideal and close to everything. The house was well stocked and met all of our needs. The only issue I have with this property is below. 1. The owner has split the upstairs and downstairs into two separate rentals and it is not made known in the description. 2. The huge issue I have is that the owner has key code locks on both doors upstairs and downstairs that have the same combination to get into the property. Long story short we came back to the rental after a long day on the island to see a renter from the upstairs coming out of our door. We asked what he was doing and he said he was confused about where to enter. When I brought up the issue with the owner he said both locks have the same combination because he set them and lost the paperwork work to change them. To me this is a huge safety issue in my mind. If the owners fixes this issue I would definitely recommend this property.
