Tiny House Gem in Beautiful Setting!

We had a terrific little getaway at the Hidden Escape! The tiny house is perfect for 2 with everything you could possibly need. Winter in the UP is unpredictable and despite snow and cold, we enjoyed the outside areas! Hot tub was terrific! Adding some driving instructions to the listing and a book of local favorites and maps would be a nice little improvement. This place is close to groceries and restaurants. And the perfect spot for visiting the Ice Caves, winter hikes, and cross country skiing. RECOMMEND!

Hidden Escape

We had a wonderful time. Loved the tiny house and the outdoor space. Hot tub was relaxing. Had everything we needed. Awesome set up. Would definitely stay in the future if in the area 😊

Misleading and disappointing

The property was not a bad place to stay and enjoyed the amenities that were not lied about. The hot tub was listed and photographed but never mentioned to be not available. We were looking forward to this amenity as we were trying to have a relaxing staycation. When trying to discuss with the property owner we were told we should have let her know that we were looking forward to the hot tub so we could he informed that it was not available. So be sure to let her know what you intend to do in order to be given accurate information. Conversations were only met with hostility and excuses rather than solutions. This is now the second complaint made about this problem and she seems to not care about the misleading information being shown. I only wish the previous person had posted their review before I stayed so I could’ve avoided spending all this money to be disappointed.

Modern Cabin Getaway

This property was amazing! The cabin was so well laid out, stocked and decorated. It had everything we could need and the picture windows made it seem like we were sleeping right in the wilderness. The outdoor space was just as good with grill, cooler, firepit, patio, hot tub and swing! The property felt brand new because it was so well maintained. We can’t wait to visit again and bring more friends and family.

Great Getaway

Book this now! What a beautiful little spot surrounded by nature and close to the beach. It was so peaceful and a stress-free experience. The cabin itself was perfect. Very comfortable bed. It had everything we needed for our stay. We used the grill and fire pit every night. We will most def book this again. Great for a couples trip or a small family. There is a loft that is great for older kids to sleep in. The owner was very nice and helpful. The GPS kept giving us the wrong information and it was late at night but the owner responded right away to help us find the location of the cabin. There is a hot tub as well. The property is new so they were still installing that but excited for it to be up and running on our next trip.

No hot tub and poor communication

We rented this place because it showed a hot tub in 2 of the pictures, which is specifically what we were looking for. When we arrived, we saw there was no water in the hot tub. After messaging the owner, we found out that the electric hadn’t been hooked up yet so we would not have a hot tub for the duration of our stay. The internet was also terrible. Each night at around 9pm, the internet would shut off, so we were unable to watch movies or communicate on our devices. We also found mouse droppings on a blanket and several spots on the floor. I voiced my concerns to the owner and was ignored. I asked for a partial refund since the listing was inaccurate, and was again ignored. We spent way too much money on this place to have an inaccurate listing with no hot tub, spotty internet, and no communication. Will not stay here again, or rent from this owner. Very disappointed!!!
