Super séjour

Appartement trĂšs grand et propre. TrĂšs bien situĂ© Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied de Clifton Hills. Grand stationnement, belle terrasse Ă©clairĂ©e. Le propriĂ©taire rĂ©pond toujours rapidement. Toutes les commoditĂ©s disponible. Je recommande, nous Ă©tions 8, 4 adulte 4 enfants nous n’avons manquĂ© de rien et avions assez de place pour tous.

We had a great time. Is very clean and well furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. The owner was extremely responsive and took care of all of our needs very quickly.

The property was in bad shape and smelled musty. The a/c did not cool on one side of the rental and the breaker kept tripping if you had on both a/c units at the same time. There were no extra towels. The furniture was in very used condition. The shower in the bedroom was small and unclean. The unit was overpriced due to the condition of the unit.

Drug paraphernalia found by our toddler! Not safe!

Things with the property itself:-The stairs are very steep going up to the suite-The pictures are deceiving. The building itself is rundown-Base board in kitchen fell off every time we opened the dishwasher and the dishwasher was even secured in place-The bathroom in the master suite smelled bad (like an outhouse/barn). There were plug in diffusers to hide the smell but they didn’t help. Now the main issue:- Upon arrival we found a mar*juana vape on the counter. Later one of our toddlers found a coca*ne snorting tube in the couch with residue on it. When we messaged the owner and said how dangerous the situation could have been for our kids he just told us to throw it out. We said it was unacceptable and he basically said not his problem and to just throw it out. This could have put one of our kids in a very dangerous positionExpensive for what it was and not safe for kids.

Location, location, location

The real highlight of this stay was our location. You are walking distance to the falls, Clifton hills, and Skylon tower. We were able to head out for the day, and be close enough to come back for a nap in the afternoon or lunch before heading back to the action. The three bedrooms were clean and well equipped for our large family. I also really appreciated the hosts promptness in responding to any questions we had.All around, great trip and a great place to stay!!

Our take

Would use again but only in cooler weather. NO central air, only window units and portables. Needs more bathroom linens. Found no washcloths and only 2 hand towels for 4 people. Located on the second floor with a steep staircase. Other than that it was ok.

Don't book it!

We didn't stay after the first hour! People were sleeping on the ground. Door wouldn't open, it was stuck, first thing we saw was the used mouthwash and toilet paper, all this made us very uncomfortable.

Girls Weekend

We were a group of 5 ladies, who stayed for a long weekend. We really appreciated that each of us had our own bed, all of which were very comfy. We enjoyed being able to walk to the falls and the other fun attractions. Thanks for a wonderful getaway.

I would stay here again. Clean, with a short 5 minute walk to Clifton Hills. Lots of room for our family of 6 and having 2 bathrooms was very convenient.

HONEST REVIEW: Mold, Mice & Webs

No instructions whatsoever for this home. We had no heat and could not locate a thermostat anywhere. We arrived around 1AM and sent message straight away to host. Host did respond the following morning. The unit has a very odd smell which owner tries to mask by using an over abundance of glade plugins - only to make it worse. The unit is not clean, there is mold, spider webs that were impressively massive and to top it off there is MICE in the unit. Host did not want to acknowledge any of our concerns with the unit. We moved out and got other accommodations. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here!

Totally enjoyed staying here. Place was clean and comfortable. Very close to everything but still pretty quiet. We had small issue and I texted the owner who immediately resolved the issue. I would definitely want to stay here again!

Niagara falls escape

Great location!! Close to activities, ample parking, unit was as pictured, clean, easy to access. You will not regret a stay here!

Convenient Location & Parking

Our family stayed while visiting the Niagara Falls region. The location was very convenient to walk the .5 mile to attractions and avoid parking fees. We had no issue with the steep stairs at entry, but this might pose difficulties for others. The flat was fine, however it was clear that the owner was staying downstairs in the building. We would make a few suggestions for improvement: -Professional cleaning. If you're charging folks for a professional cleaning, provide one. The house is lived in with chips, fingerprints, and stickers on the walls. The bathroom walls/ceiling were dirty with dead bugs and hair. -Heating. We visited around Thanksgiving and while it was in the 50s F during the day, it was down in the high 30s/40s at night. The only available heating was a small heater in one of the 3 bedrooms. We visited from a warm climate and the other 2 bedrooms got very cold at night for those not acclimated. It also would have been nice to have some regular coffee for the Keurig, not just decaf. Not a big deal, as having a kitchen is really convenient. Overall, the location was worth it for any who want to be away from the hotel scene and enjoy a little walk. We also really enjoyed the suggestions for local restaurants to support outside the tourist areas.
