Our charming historic double silo granary farmhouse sits just above Lake Michigan, built in 1914! A truly unique gem in lovely and scenic, Kewaunee! Situated in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful mature trees with a park setting, Get a peek of Lake MI from your front & backyard, master bedroom & SE Silo!. 2 minute drive or a serene 15 minute walk down the hill to downtown (restaurants, shops, beach, lighthouse) & everything else Kewaunee has to offer! Two other waterfront parks ... even closer!

Within walking distance of everything our beach town has to offer including the Ahnapee Trail!

Rental includes use of the entire house, main (2nd) and top (3rd) floor, the basement (storage area) is closed off from the house. We live next door in the barn, it is separated and closed off from the farmhouse. Wood fencing also divides our barn and the farmhouse. Your own dedicated driveway with plenty of parking for all of our guests, free street parking allowed as well 24/7.

Maximum 12 guests, no large gatherings.

Dining table for 8 in the middle of everything! Another nearby table with seating for 4. And, bar stool seating for 5 at the kitchen island.

MORE DETAILS: There is a staircase to the top of each silo room, each with their own spacious round bedroom with Queen Bed, one with a peek of Lake Michigan! A full wrap around top floor balcony/hall overlooking the dining/living area! Here you will find the Master Bedroom with full bath and walk-in closet. Two more bedrooms on the same floor, one with a Queen Bed the other a Twin ... steps from the other full bath down the hall. Another Queen Bedroom on the main floor inside the Silo, just off the living room!

FULL DETAILED WALK-THROUGH:
The house is 3 stories, the ground level (1st floor basement) is not part of the rental, it's our utility room and storage. When you arrive, you walk up the stairs to the main deck, the sliding glass door is your main entrance door, leading into the main living area of house. This main floor includes the kitchen, living, dining, 1/2 bath, and laundry room. The 2 silos open up to this main level. One of the silos that you walk into is a laundry room, go up the stairs from the laundry room and it leads to a top floor silo bedroom with queen bed. Walk into the other silo from the living area and you are in a bedroom with queen bed. Walk up the stairs from this room which will lead you to our other top floor queen silo bedroom. You do have to walk through the laundry room to get to the top silo queen bedroom. In the other silo, it's one of the queen bedrooms that you have to walk through to get up to the upper queen bedroom in that silo. However, the bedrooms are still quite private. From the main living area, head up the main staircase to the upper floor. You will find the master bedroom with queen bed and it's own full bathroom. Across from the master are two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with a twin bed. Down the hall from these is the other full bath. For additional guests, we have 1 futon that we can set up as a bed with advance notice, each sleeps one adult.
