The heat does a pretty good job, coupled with the fireplace, of keeping the downstairs warm, but there are space heaters that can be used in addition to help get it extra toasty. We take great pride in maintaining Snowbird Lodge, a traditional Massanutten chalet on a wooded lot, to a high standard and are committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for all guests. Many of the items mentioned—such as carpet cleanliness, cabinet surfaces, and deck maintenance—are part of our regular turnover and inspection process. That said, we will revisit each of these areas to ensure they continue to meet our standards. Regarding the bunk beds: they are intentionally low-profile and designed for children’s safety. We understand this may not suit all preferences and will consider clarifying this in our listing. We do want to respectfully note that we were not contacted at any point during your stay. As local hosts, we are always nearby and available to address concerns in real time. Given the opportunity, we would have responded promptly to inspect and resolve any issues to improve your experience. We value all feedback and use it to improve the guest experience.
