Enjoy being in the valley area of Wintergreen so that you are close to the resort but also close to all the other attractions of Nelson County. We are close to great hiking, breweries, wineries but you can also enjoy Wintergreens Stoney Creek golf course, Discovery Ridge (zip lines, tubing, rock walls and more), Lake Monacan (closed on Saturdays) , the Spa and we are walking distance (.2mi) to our Rhodes Farm pool (please note the pool allows 6 guests only from 2-6pm)

The space
Rockfish Valley Retreat is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, perfect for families and friends looking for a peaceful retreat that feels away from it all but that is close to all the local attractions. We have a wonderful outdoor space with a bar/TV area, and also a propane fire pit to enjoy on cool nights. Inside feels both cozy and spacious with windows looking out over the valley. The walking trail behind the house is connected to the horse farm across the street, so enjoy watching the horses walk by as you enjoy your morning coffee on the deck.

NEARBY: We are 2.9 miles from Three Notch’d Brewery, and only a few miles from many other local wineries, breweries, and cideries (over 30!). We are in the valley area of Wintergreen, and we are close to some of the areas most popular hiking and outdoor destinations (Crabtree Falls, Blue Ridge Tunnel Hike, and the more than 30miles of trails at Wintergreen Resort).
INSIDE SPACE: Inside the cozy main living space has a sofa and two chairs for lounging. There is a dining area for 6 that is open to the living room. Please note: The wood burning fireplace is for decorative purposes only and not able to be used due to fire code.

KITCHEN: Fully stocked for all your cooking needs - all cooking tools, pots and pans, Keurig coffee maker, dishes + utensils, basic spices and more.

BATHROOMS: 2 full bathrooms – 1 on each floor. Downstairs has a tub/shower and upstairs is a shower only.

ELECTRONICS: We have smart TVs in the living room and all bedrooms, we also have a smart TV on the back deck that is on a swivel so can also be enjoyed from all deck areas. Our entry is keyless.

BEDROOMS: Downstairs you will find two bedrooms. One with a queen bed and the other with a queen bunk bed and single twin. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed.


KIDS: A pack-n-play (with sheet) is also available for your use and is located in the upstairs closet.. We have plenty of family friendly games. There are step stools in both bathrooms, a high chair/booster, and kid-friendly cups + dishes. *Please note though, parents of toddlers, that the house has wooden stairs and no baby gates.*

OUTSIDE: We have a bar with two stools, a swing and 2 outdoor chairs on the deck. We have 4 adirondack chairs on the lower deck with firepit. On the front porch we have two rocking chairs that look over to the horse farm.
