Welcome to our Mid-Century Designed Oceanside Home!
Why spend time at a Mid-Century Home in Palm Desert in 100+ degrees weather? Do 62-72 degrees and the Pacific Ocean sound better to you?


Experience this Mid-Century designed and meticulously decorated residence in Oceanside. THE MOST detail-oriented home in North San Diego, 4.5 miles from the beach/Oceanside Pier, TOP to Bottom renovation.



BEFORE BOOKING, read all our house rules and agree to them. Please know this is our home - the place that we live in. This is not a hotel, as such we ask that you respect our house rules.


We are very sorry, but based on our host's experience, we only accept guests with several positive reviews.


We are right nearby the intersection of Mission Ave and Hwy 76.



The entire house has been uniquely remodeled for a clean modern feeling while preserving aspects of the houses from the '50s - '70s vintage. Four bedrooms, the office desk with a monitor, two bathrooms plus full laundry and kitchen with counter and dining room. Custom pergola with floating fireplace (NOT A SWING – See Photos), electric BBQ grill, 65" smart TV and free wi-fi internet access.



This stylish and comfortable home with plenty of space and amenities, plus a remote workspace, is perfect for a 6-8 GUESTS MAXIMUM TOTAL(that includes children and infants). Per Oceanside ordinance, the maximum occupancy of our house is 8. The house is perfect for up to 6 adults and 2 kids, having 8 adults at the same time might be too crowded.

To help you start your stay, the house is stocked with bathroom essentials (TP, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer and more), kitchen and laundry basics in the amount for a few first days. The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essentials - silverware, plates, glasses, and cooking utensils. Linens, towels, iron and ironing board are provided.



Please be courteous when using towels and linens. Excessive stains may incur additional charges for replacement.



PLEASE DO NOT MOVE ANY FURNITURE AND FIXTURES IN THE HOUSE!



We have technology that ensures that our property is continuously running smoothly. Please help us out and do not remove/unplug any hardware at the property, as this may incur additional fees.



Our home is equipped with MINUT. This system monitors the noise level and crowd detection inside the premises to help us to comply with Good Neighbor policies and city ordinances. This system does not record anything in the home.



HVAC: The house is equipped with brand-new heating and air conditioning. Fortunately, the climate is nearly perfect in San Diego year-round. Please make sure to keep all the windows closed when the HVAC is running.



Please do not adjust the air vents in the house. They are set up for the best circulation for the whole house. The thermostat is set up at a reasonable temperature (68 heat, 76 AC) and it's on a wifi connection, so we can monitor/assist with HVAC if necessary. Welcome to open windows to get fresh air from the ocean in the evenings and nights and when it’s beautiful chill weather. Our area is very safe and windows have security locks. There is a ceiling fan in each bedroom and in the living area and we provide 3 portable fans, that may be used in any of the rooms.



WATER: We have a water filtration system for the entire house.



If you have children, please know that our backyard landscape has cactuses.



Help us to keep the place clean for future guests and please remove all trash and place it in the proper trash cans in the garage.



We have ALL necessary beach gear for a fun day at one of many local beaches! chairs, umbrella, and beach towels.



Local attractions include: San Diego area favorites, (Sea World, Legoland, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park), the aquarium, botanical gardens, wineries and many restaurants. 45 minutes from Disneyland and California Adventures.



Fire pit:
Located in the backyard, is a liquid Bio-Ethanol fire pit, feel free to use it at your leisure. Please DO NOT SIT or DO NOT PUT anything on the fire pit. Do not put anything inside of the fire. Guests take full responsibility for operating the fire pit. A bottle of fireplace fuel is provided. For your safety please make sure the fire is completely extinguished before you head to bed, or leave the property unattended.



Parking/Laundry:
A higher concentration of cars parked along the street is common in beach communities and should be expected as part of the coastal experience — smaller lot sizes, shared housing, and seasonal visitors all contribute to this normal condition. That said, you won’t need to worry about parking at our place! Our home offers a spacious driveway that comfortably fits three (3) vehicles, plus a garage space for one (1) small car. Enjoy all the perks of a beach community without the usual parking hassle. Add the convenience of a full-size washer and dryer, and this home is a great fit for both short getaways and longer stays.



Trash cans:
If your stay includes Thursdays (City trash pickup), please take both trash cans to the curbside Wednesday night and return them after pickup.

It was good

The house was in a good neighborhood, quiet, and clean. There was no issues finding it and there were plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. They send a lot of instructions and they seem like a lot but they were easy to follow and helped when we had questions. I would say the house temperature could be better regulated and the remotes for the fan and ceiling lights aren't the easiest but that was the only feedback my friends and I had.
