Welcome to our vacation rental located on the fourth floor of a beachfront property. This charming unit offers a breathtaking view of the ocean and provides an ideal setting for enjoying stunning sunsets and indulging in thrilling surfing adventures.

As you arrive, you'll notice that the building does not have an elevator, so be prepared for a short climb up the stairs to reach your vacation getaway. Once you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy and well-appointed space designed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The accommodation itself is designed with your utmost comfort and convenience in mind. Spacious and tastefully decorated, it features all the amenities you need for a memorable stay. Picture large windows that invite abundant natural light, filling the space with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Imagine waking up to the sound of crashing waves and enjoying a cup of coffee on your private balcony, taking in the soothing ocean breeze as the sun rises.

This is the perfect place to enjoy the quiet beachfront community! Lovely views of the ocean and cleverly constructed to enjoy the outdoors, even from inside the apartment, with hammocks. Well maintained and clean, walking distance to good restaurants, and the owners are very attentive and communicative, with lots of helpful local tips. I wish we could have stayed longer, and we would return. Currently, the clothes washing/drying machines are out of service, so plan accordingly, but the owners are actively working on replacements.

Beautiful views from every room with large sliding windows that look over the beach. Lying in a giant cozy bed to the sound of ocean waves right outside was so restorative. The hammock chairs in the living room and on the balcony were perfect for reading and dozing about in the afternoon sun. There are tons of little restaurants around Aguada and Rincon, but our favorite spot wound up being Dé Playa, a 10 minute walk from the room, for the mofongo tacos. This listing was 5 stars all the way. One little unexpected critique is that there was no laundry on site, tho I’m pretty sure the listing indicated that as an amenity. The owners responded quickly when we asked about it, and directed us to a nearby laundromat, which ended up being a totally pleasant experience in and of itself. Included a pic of the view from the parking lot :) Highly recommend!

Additionally, the property boasts an excellent vantage point for whale watching during the appropriate season. Whales are migratory creatures that often pass through specific areas during their journeys, Casa Ballena is situated near a known whale migration route, you may have the opportunity to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. It's an awe-inspiring experience to see whales breaching, spouting water, or gracefully swimming through the ocean.

Furthermore, residing in a location with an ocean breeze all year long provides a refreshing and invigorating ambiance. The cool, salty breeze coming from the ocean not only enhances the natural beauty of the surroundings but also provides a sense of tranquility and relaxation.
