Stunning Modern Home in Sunny Location Close to Beach Access

This home has been recently remodeled and furnished by an interior designer and features 16' sliding doors opening to front and covered back decks for truly indoor/outdoor living and is a serene, relaxing home with a leaning to Asian aesthetics. The primary bedroom, with queen bed, opens to the back deck and the master bath features a large shower with two shower heads. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and the guest bath has a tub/shower combo. Not suitable for handicap access due to steep interior stairs. Maximum stay: 4 nights. No children under the age of 5 years. No pets including service animals due to severe allergies. Exterior camera at entrance. Central heating and a fireplace keeps guests warm in cooler months. Sit on the front deck in the morning sun, enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the birds in the redwoods!

Owner, at times, stays in separate downstairs unit that has its own entrance. You will not even know they are there unless there is something you need! Maximum privacy for guests in main house!

Located at end of county road with no access to private community beach. However, many beaches near by including Sunset. Guerneville, Healdsburg, Sebastopol, and Santa Rosa are located near by.

We had a wonderful stay here and everything was as described. It truly is a beautiful modern place with lovely surroundings. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely like to come again.

The house was incredibly beautiful and very well appointed. Easy check in and out. Host quick to respond to all questions. This is a gem of a place - we felt we were in a 4 star hotel.

The front and back balcony were just suburb! With beautiful views, lots of sunlight and a relaxing Zen feel. Love this place! We'll be back :)

Lordy... where do I start?

Great room/open kitchen/huge fireplace-two walls of glass that open up.... one to amazing views of the forest that you enjoy from the massive deck with comfortable furniture and a hammock! The other glass wall opens up to a shaded yet bright Zen like garden patio with lounging and dining area. The property is immaculate and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is stocked like a home... not like a vacation rental. Anything you could possible want (three different options for a cheese grater is an example!) and if this doesn't describe the level of this property- I don't know what does..... Cuisinart Coffee Maker with PEETS COFFEE!!!!! Attention to detail is impressive. Blue tooth music capability through ceiling speakers..... Adjustable lighting.... firewood, paper, matches & starter wood all included. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood of homes along a hillside many of them overlooking the river. This property is not river view. This community has a club room, bar, restaurant and event space. The neighbors were kind and friendly. Basha the owner is professional and accommodating. I sincerely recommend this property!

The property and the design of the house were incredible ! It was such a nice getaway from the outside world. We were close to wineries and great restaurants. We enjoyed the outside patios and beautiful views . The only drawback was the air conditioning did not seem to set to a cool temperature

Forestville get-together

The location was stunning, I never knew it existed. The landlady was kind, communicative, and accommodating!The neighbors were kind and friendly.Although we were there for a memorial service, the surroundings were beautiful and a pleasant surprise. Our stay helped to ease the pain of our reason for being there. I would be tempted to return in the future.

Relax in the redwoods

Beautiful location and home. Love the sliding walls and ability to sit out front or back. Bring bug spray. Kitchen is stocked like home with spices, oil, coffee, food containers, mixing bowls, strainers. I LOVED that. As pictured. No air conditioning if you travel in warmer months. Check-in was easy. Host was very responsive.

Wonderful stay in Forestville! Like a Harry Potter treehouse!

The rental property is extremely nice. It is bigger and nicer than it looked in the photos. Two luxurious balconies--the one in the back, you could practically live in. It is a grill and a set of couches and a covering over the whole area for falling leaves and sun. The front balcony overlooks the winding street and you can lights on all the other properties--so beautiful at night! The only reason I gave the cleanliness 4 stars is that we had a few daddy-long-leg spiders. But it's to be expected--you're in the woods. The owner was most apologetic! Worth every penny! Highly recommend. The owner is great--helpful and organized.

Wonderful Stay

The property was extremely nice - probably the best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. It was very quiet. The house was well equipped, especially the kitchen. There were great outdoor spaces for relaxation. The host had several recommendations for restaurants and wine tasting which were spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be pleased to stay there again.

Tranquil getaway in Forestville

Our family had a perfect stay in this modern, clean home set in a vacation neighborhood in Forestville. The open space and comfortable furnishings, along with attention to detail everywhere, was so appreciated. The host was communicative and helpful throughout our stay, and provided extras like beach towels and coffee. We enjoyed the peaceful outdoor spaces and the updated bathrooms. An added plus is that the home is easy access to many area attractions, including Russian River beaches, Sonoma vineyards, and great hiking. We would definitely stay here again!

Tranquil Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this Modern Home nestled in the woods. The tranquility of the surroundings was just what we needed to unwind. Great stay

We had a great stay! We have family across the street so we’re in and out of the house all day and the location made it perfect. We’ve been going to SHP for 25 years and love it so much, we are thankful to have a wonderful place to stay close to our family!

Relaxing time in Sonoma Valley

My husband and I had a great stay in Forrestville. The house was beautiful and clean with all the expected accoutrements. I hiked the area multiple times during our stay and the neighborhood is restful, green, and hilly. The host was responsive and helpful.
