The location was ideally situated around redwoods near the main road. The house had all the amenities and comforts that we needed. The communication with the host was quick and attentive. We will definitely comeback if we return to the area.

River Country Comfort

Enjoyed our stay recently and used these excellent accommodations for our base. Clean and comfortable and across from a beautiful, Redwood studded creek. Had the weather cooperated it would have been even better. Had a very minor issue that was acknowledged by the owner immediately, resulting in a non-issue. Highly recommended, all good, thanks.

Lovely & Tranquil Location

This home was perfect for our family 3-day Sibling Reunion. There were ample sleeping accommodations, bathrooms, and lounging areas for conversations. The mattress in the master bedroom felt very “luxe” and afforded me the best two nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time! We appreciated the Keurig coffeemaker with the dual ability to make both a carafe of coffee as well as a single pod of something different. The neighborhood was quiet this time of year and folks seemed very respectful and friendly. The keypad on the front door allowed us easy access and password was simple. The views of the woods and redwoods from the home’s many windows were spectacular! We could have easily hooded it into town for breakfast, bakeries, or shopping, but chose to drive as our time was so limited. We enjoyed a lovely—though somewhat challenging uphill hike—in the Armstrong Redwoods State Park, located very closeby to this home, a “not-to-be-missed” activity. The host prepared this home for a comfortable and memorable stay. We would return again!

Very beautiful but had some communication issues

My family and I stayed in this property for a few days to attend my brother's memorial service in the redwoods. Entry and check-in was very easy, but I did have a few issues with reaching out to the host. We were travelling with our toddler, and I had a hard time getting a hold of them to figure out if there was a pack-and-play in the property and a high chair or not. They finally did get back to us, but it took a while, and they did not know what property we were staying at - I had to give them the address. I will also say - if you are travelling with a toddler, I would not recommend this property only because there are multiple stairs. The property did not have baby gates, so we were constantly having to make sure the baby didn't topple down the stairs. This is NOT the property owners fault at all, I just wanted to point it out in case you're travelling with young kiddos. Other than that, this property was absolutely beautiful. If I didn't have my toddler, I would 100% stay here again. It was close to town and nestled so beautifully in the redwoods. The beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable (we actually took note of the mattress brand because we need a new one!) and we got great sleep every night. We also loved the living area - the tv was nice and big and it had plenty of space to hang out with family. Highly highly recommend!
