The number one lasting impression was of how comfortable the bed and pillows were--the best of any place we've stayed in years. It was roomy and decorated very nice. We found everything we needed in the kitchen line. The hosts respond quickly and are very nice. The only recommendation for improvement I would have to make would be for a little less air fresheners.

This was a wonderful find! We often travel with our pets, and this place was perfect for them. Our dogs absolutely loved their stay. The grounds surrounding the cabin were spacious, and as a bonus, we spotted many deer! Inside, the cabin was very roomy and beautifully decorated for the fall season. Next time we travel this way, we will definitely try to stay here again – it was a great experience!

Peaceful Cottage

Clinton was kind and easy to communicate with. The property was peaceful and quiet. We saw wild turkeys in the morning, there is a creek, and the host has two small dogs that were friendly. The beds were large and comfortable and the cottage was spacious. The host has games and snacks upon arrival which was a hit w my kids. The cons: no stovetop for cooking but they have a griddle, toaster oven and microwave. There is no washer and dryer if you are needing one during your stay. The internet is not seemingly WiFi
and it is slow. The bedroom tv streaming buffered about every 20 seconds and the dish network in the living area also buffered regularly. There is no blinds or curtains on the entry double doors and the only bathroom door faces this door
it would be nice to have blinds for increased privacy.

Beautiful and peaceful

The cabin was larger than I thought it would be, plenty of space for our party of 5. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Close to anything you need. Host was amazing!

What a great place !!!

This cabin was great !!! We came down for my son’s baseball games at TWU with his dog and this place was absolutely perfect for us !!! Very clean and spacious !!! The only thing missing is hooks for coats and somewhere to hang clothes but the greatness makes this seem very minor !!! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to chill and take in scenery. The host was very quick to reply to any questions during our stay . We will hopefully be back next year !!!

Great Relaxing week in the heart of Athens.

Really nice quiet stay. Comfortable beds, clean cabin, easy access to all of SE Tennessee but still hidden in the woods. Great value as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Vacation to see family for Christmas

We stayed here with our small dogs. The bed was very comfy, the property is dog-friendly, and the host is quick to communicate. If we come up for Christmas again next year, we hope to stay here again!

DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!!

We were not even able to use this property- we booked for 2 nights but ended up leaving the first night due to cleanliness and odor. We arrived on Friday and had a wedding to get to. We noticed an odor, but were in a rush, so we dismissed it. However, the toilet seat had dried pee all over it. The owner contacted us to see if we needed anything. I told them about the toilet seat and they got someone out to clean it. This did make us nervous because if something as obvious and visible as the toilet seat isn’t clean, then what does that mean for the rest of the property that is less visible? When we got back from the wedding, we started getting settled in and could not get past the smell. We went and bought Lysol and sprayed a whole bottle, but it did nothing for the smell or our feeling of uncleanliness. I contacted the owner once again, who went radio silent on us. We felt like the smell had already gotten into our clothes and hair, and we could not tolerate it anymore so we ended up picking up and leaving after being there less than an hour. I still have not heard back from the owner. I have screenshots of all communication with the owner who was apologetic and offered excuses about the toilet (new cleaner/not checking behind them), but nothing about the smell. Please save yourself time and money and stay far away from this terrible property.

Beautiful property and great host!

This was a gorgeous country property, with a very courteous and helpful host. He answered all of our questions right help us with any needs we had. Accommodated my four month old child my 11-year-old daughter, my husband and my mother and was able to bring my disabled grandmother with wheelchair accessibility into cabin. Overall, a great day!

Perfectly peaceful relaxation just minutes from the action!

The property is beautiful! The owners are so friendly! You seriously turn left out of the hustle and bustle of it all to this tranquil beautiful little gem just about 1.5 miles. Easy to get to, door dash is available and quick. Couches have recliners in them in front of a big screen for relaxing. Beds are super comfy, a little tall to get into but oh so comfy. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be back just to relax and enjoy. The like creek that flows in front and the beautiful shade trees. Just really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this home.

Fall weekend

The cabin is very nice and has a cozy atmosphere. There is only two things that needs to modification. The front door lock would not lock the door when leaving. So valuables were kept in our car. The front door made of glass panels, doesn’t have any coverings of either blinds or drapes. Which left no privacy to the living room area. Second area was the toilet. It had a sewage smell that you could use a lot of air freshener and never rid the smell it would release. The rest of the Cabin was very nice and pleasant to be in. Thank you
