Une trouvaille rare au cœur du comté de Leelanau, cette charmante maison de ferme de style "tournant du siècle" est située sur une belle ferme de 10 hectares. À quelques minutes du lac Michigan et du lac Leelanau. Cette maison de deux niveaux est située au coeur du comté de Leelanau, juste au nord de Cedar. La cour fait face à l'est. 8 chambres et 3 salles de bain. Jusqu'à 16 personnes maximum.

4 reines, 2 Fulls, 1 lit superposé et 2 jumeaux. Deux chambres à l'étage principal et six chambres à l'étage. Planchers en bois, 2 foyers au bois, cuisine complète avec lave-vaisselle. Machine à laver et sèche-linge. TV (pas de câble), DVD. Wifi.

Endroit idéal pour se détendre dans le calme de cette région rurale, lire des livres, boire du vin et profiter de la belle vie. Barbecue au charbon de bois et grande terrasse pour les repas en plein air. Star regarde dans le ciel cristallin la nuit. Prêt à nager? Dirigez-vous quelques minutes à l'est de South Lake Leelanau ou à l'ouest de la belle plage de Good Harbour sur le lac Michigan. Les charmantes villes de Glen Arbor ou de Leland sont également faciles à conduire. Moins de 20 miles à Traverse City.
Pas de climatisation. Pas d'animaux de compagnie. Les draps sont fournis. Ne pas fumer.
Prendra en compte des séjours hebdomadaires ou courts en toute saison. Été 3 nuits minimum. Les courts séjours sont autorisés pendant les périodes estivales principales. Great for large family

We needed a large place at last minute for a large family. This house was perfect. Spacious. Clean. Easy to get around Leelanau County!

Perfect for large groups

We were considering reserving 6-8 hotel rooms for the nights before & after a family reunion in Traverse City. Found this property on VRBO & couldn't have been happier. We had plenty of space with great amenities plus a huge cost savings vs hotel rooms. Very nice experience!

We had 13 people. It was a cousins weekend and we had 2 second generation kids there too. It was wonderful catching up with everyone We have been getting together for about15 years at various locations and this one was by far the best

Nice clean home

Farmhouse Deluxe

We rented here 5 years ago. Many lovely updates. Spacious. The house was clean and like all houses up north had a few little beetles that were never an issue, no ants. Linens were clean and all rooms had fans and a screen to put in the double hung windows. Loved it.

Relaxing and fun stay!

We are a group of friends who got to get away for a long weekend together. We loved the space and the location- lots of open area in the house and outside but still very close to the city. A few things I wish I had known were that there is very sparse cell phone service and that there was a portable dishwasher. Luckily I'm familiar with how to use one but most aren't. Most of the supplies were well stocked, but there were not enough silver ware for each person. There were also only 2 trash bagsand no extra blankets. Otherwise it was a great stay at a great location!

Fun Old House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This farm house has a lot of old home charm. While I love old homes, this one needs quite a bit of updating and love. There is chipping paint, rotten wood throughout and peeling tile in the ice cream parlor. The old stove is charming but I would've preferred something a bit more functional. All that said, we had a great time and enjoyed having a large amount of space for our group of 10.

It was not a good experience.

The house is in a bad location, the house is old, it was dirty, at night you could hear people passing by outside, there was no air conditioning, overall it was a bad experience and we will not return to this house. Very disappointed as it looked very nice in the photos.

Good location and lots of bedrooms

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is old and needs some updating. Strong smell of mildew when you enter. None of the downstairs windows had screens so you couldn't really open the windows at night. Advertised as on 10 cares but you can really only walk on 1. House faces and is directly across from Holy Rosary Church. House is in a great location of rolling hills and farms. 30 mins to Sleeping Bear Dunes, 30 mins to Traverse City, 20 mins to Leland fishing village.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Somewhere in Time was in a great location, private and peaceful with lots of room indoors and outdoors for our group of 16.the refrigerator, stove top and Weber grill were adequate, oven was very small so didn't use it. Back deck was large but needed rails in a couple spots, and front porch was crooked and in need of repair. We avoided the Ice cream parlor since floor was cracked, baseboards missing and it was not clean. With a lot of TLC, this could be a great place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this house several times (5?) in the past years. Visit Up North employees are quick to respond to reasonable requests and are courteous and pleasant. August 2024’s weather was VERY hot (90 to 100 degrees every day) and the fans in every room were very welcome!We are 8 professional artists coming to paint plein air (outside) every day, all day. The house is large enough to all gather together, if we want, either in the dining room, living room, or the deck outside. We critique our paintings in the long and narrow enclosed front porch. We each have our own bedroom which allows us to maintain our individual schedules. Two bedrooms down, six bedrooms up the very narrow stairs. There are two full baths downstairs, one with tub, one with shower. Upstairs, one toilet and sink, and in its own room, a shower, a very convenient setup.

Family Reunion

This was a great location for a small family reunion. We loved the peace and quiet of the community and the deck was lovely to sit on and sip a glass of wine and converse. Plenty of bedrooms for our group.

The farmhouse was beautiful and charming as well as in a perfect location to drive between Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City. Our only complaint was finding dirty clothes under beds and having to completely wash and dry all dishes before leaving in the morning instead of running (and leaving) in dishwasher.
