If you're looking for an amazing family vacation home look no further! Located in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, this 3-story duplex home caters to families and boasts sweeping views all the way to the bay. With the windows open enjoy a lovely ocean breeze. Breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace, a perfect viewing spot of the nightly summertime Sea World fireworks. Plenty of beach supplies included.

Janet & Scott are your hosts. We are a husband and wife team and we live nearby. We own and operate Mission Beach Villas, a highly rated vacation rental management business in San Diego.

We are available 7 am to 11 pm to answer questions during your stay.

This gorgeous home is located a quiet neighborhood just a few blocks away from the sandy white beaches of Pacific Beach and Mission Bay. There are ample recreation opportunities and quick access to Sea World. Walk a couple of minutes and you'll encounter pristine white beaches on a relaxing sail bay. Along the bay there is a nice boardwalk for bicycle riding, walking, jogging or rollerblading. A few blocks away is the ocean with a nice wide boardwalk along the beach. This home is a total gem because it is set back away from the crowds on a very quiet charming residential street. It is located kitty corner to the Pacific Beach branch of the San Diego Public Library with ample parking around the perimeter of the library.

Pacific Beach is located right on the shore of Mission Bay. The home is within biking and walking distance to the beaches and nightlife of Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. It is a great neighborhood for active adults and for children with access to parks, beaches and boardwalks. Mission Bay is a salt-water bay located south of Pacific Beach and is the largest man-made aquatic park in the United States. Popular activities include wakeboarding, sailing, jet skiing, as well as walking, jogging and cycling along the pedestrian path.

One of the best features of staying here is the jogging path that goes around Mission Bay. Everyday there are people walking, riding bikes and jogging along the picturesque paths and sidewalks.

Pacific Beach is a charming neighborhood that is perfect for enjoying an active lifestyle. It's also a great place to just relax and watch sailboats cruising by. On many evenings you can watch dazzling fireworks from Sea World light up the sky. For visitors and residents the sparkling view of the bay is postcard-perfect all year long.

Due to insurance reasons, the person booking must be at least 25 years old to book and must upload a photo of government ID to the host within 24 hours of booking.

Please note that we have occupancy based pricing in our settings. Please select the correct number of people in your group at the time of booking to get the correct pricing for your stay. Keep in mind, if you add more people to your group after booking the rate may adjust slightly. There is an additional charge of $30 per night for each additional person after the initial 6 people. This keeps our rates low and affordable for our average group size for this listing and helps us charge an appropriate fee for the additional linens and utilities used by a larger group size. We love children and want you to know that they are more than welcome as our guests. This means that children of any age, even infants, are counted as guests in your guest count. Please let us know in advance the ages of all children and any special needs you may have.

Shared Rooftop Terrace:
- Minors may not be on the rooftop terrace without parent/guardian supervision.
- No dancing, playing, or rough housing allowed on the rooftop terrace.
- No high heels , cleats, or shoes with pointy bottoms of any kind that could pierce the delicate flooring of the roof
- Maximum of 8 people on the roof at any time
- The roof is intended for quiet enjoyment of the scenery
- Security cameras are present for safety and security

Registered guests only: Due to insurance issues there are to be no guests on the premises not originally registered for the booking unless prior approval has been granted.

No Party Zone: This is not to be used as a party rental. No additional people will be permitted on the premises not already registered as a guest, unless approved by us in advanced. Any parties or additional non-registered guests will be grounds for immediate eviction and loss of unused nights and any deposit.

Verified ID: For security and insurance reasons when we have a group of individuals staying in a home, we ask for the identity of each adult with a verified ID. The door code will not be supplied until this important step is completed so we recommend taking care of this right after booking. We find that this kind of transparency leads to individual responsibility and helps support the overall integrity of the booking platform.

For stays longer than 30 days a signed rental agreement and criminal background check are required within 24 of booking.

We can hook you up with a vendor that will set up a private bonfire on the beach for your family. Includes set up and take down, portable steel fire drum, roasting sticks, hot dogs, and s'mores. A perfect activity while waiting for the summer Sea World fireworks over the bay. Inquire for details.

We can arrange for a very affordable local portrait photographer to do a photo session of your family on the beach. Let us know in advanced if you're interested and we can connect you with the photographer.

The house is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.
