Wonderful family time

This was the first family vacation for us with the dogs and it was amazing. The home was so comfortable and well maintained, and the view was incredible. Loved being able to sit and enjoy the beach from the front deck. Only downside was that the mosquitoes were especially vicious while we were there. Learned to spray down the outdoor shower before heading to the beach so the shower was free of bites when we came back. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful house except for the Mosquitoes

Loved the house and location in relation to the beach, except for the pond in front of the house. Millions of mosquitoes coming out of the pond surrounding the house.

Fall On Crystal Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of our favorite times to visit the area in in November and December. The Gulf is so calm with Northwest winds, the sun rises are breath taking and the sun bathing on the porch is perfect looking out and watching the shrimp boats working offshore. This home is beautifully furnished and is located near restaurants and other shopping. It is a quick drive to the Ferry to go over to Galveston. We spend lots of time in Crystal Beach and we ALWAYS get this house. It has a lift that makes it easy to get all of our things upstairs and downstairs when we leave. The kitchen is well equipped and there is lots of room for grandchildren up stairs. Every season has something different; but, November and December allows for you to almost have a private beach. Morning walks on the beach are breathtaking. You will love you stay!

It is set aside from all the hustle and bustle of being in the heart of Crystal Beach. The beach is just a few steps away, the home is well furnished and very clean. The view is breath taking and we love having a lift to help us get all of our belongings up stairs. You are close to shopping and many restaurants. The drive to the Ferry to go to Galveston is shortened from this location and we find this home a great place to just come and relax and enjoy the beauty of the Gulf!

The home is a real home, not a rental. The kitchen is Marianne's favorite of all the homes we have stayed in. You are close to the Ferry for trips to Galveston. Restaurants nearby and all sorts of shopping up and down the road. The TV is streaming so you can download you own app and watch what you watch at home. The furnishings are in good taste and the entire home in very comfortable. The upstairs has plenty of room so sleep lots. of family or friends. The master looks right out on the ocean. We love going down in the Fall season. You will never be disappointed when renting this beautiful home. Me, I spend loads of time the decks getting a really good sun tan!

Perfect Jewel

We have been in several homes on the water and this is the jewel of all of the homes we have stayed in over the years. It is located at the far end of one of the subdivisions where you have a huge open space on one side and a lot of room on the other side giving you lots of privacy. It is close to the water with a view that is amazing. The home itself is tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with all you need. There is only the two of us; but, the upstairs has a separate AC for cooling and is also very comfortable. It is clean and will be our house of choice for as long as it is available. The porches have excellent views and if you are there on a weekend you can sit in the swing on the side porch and listen to live music coming from Margaritaville Beach Resort. Close to the Ferry and a Restaurant right down the street. You will love your stay here.

We could have used a few more cooking utensils. The only negative was the fact that the stairs up to the house did not have a handrail. This could be a problem for some.
