Portsmouth Beach cottage

Beautifully appointed home on Blue Bill Cove in Portsmouth, RI. This newly remodeled 850 square foot home comfortably sleeps up to 5 adults, in 3 bedrooms. All bed linens, bath and beach towels are included.

Island Park is an eclectic village that offers several restaurants, pubs, a coffee shop, clam shacks and a local beach all within walking distance. Coffee house only 4 tenths of a mile from home!

This quaint house has everything you need to enjoy a weekend getaway or a leisurely vacation!

This 850 square foot home, is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy some well deserved time off. Supporting two twins, a set of bunk beds and a full bed to sleep up to six. The Cozy kitchen and living space is perfect for relaxing Enjoy a newly built front porch while you sit and watch the sunset!

When booking this home you will enjoy full access to the whole home!!

We are always happy to assist with any needs you may have during your stay and will respond to inquiries quickly and efficiently.

There is access to the ocean if you would like to put in a canoe or kayak 100 feet from the front door and access to a beach only a three min walk from the house. Additionally there are five restaurants located within a 5 min walk from the front door.

Put in a kayak or canoe at the ocean access point only a few steps from the front door or put in a boat at the dock less than a mile from the house. Enjoy a quiet day on the beach five minutes walking from the house and have some ice cream at the ice cream shop across from the beach.
Parking is in the front gravel area
Please put out any fire pit fires before ending your night
House is on Septic, do not flush anything besides toilet paper.
Trash Day is Friday Morning. Please put the Blue top bin and Black top bin by the curb on Thursday night to allow room for trash throughout your stay.

The location of our rental proved a wonderful bonus. There is a good bar, a fantastic place for breakfast and a great restaurant all within walking distance of the house. Of course the area is good for strolling as the water surrounds the area.

We had a great time in this beach cottage. It is clean and near to the beach. The neigborhood is quiet and well-kept. First the door code we received doesn‘t work but with a short massage to the owner we solved this problem.There is a small garden wich is nice.

This property although on the smaller side for our family of 6, was actually quite cozy. It really felt like we were at home. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice pressure to take a refreshing shower after a day at the beach. We enjoyed a campfire one night and love that the beach, coffee and food were just within walking distance.My only complaint for the house was that it was not very stocked in the way of preparing or cooking meals. Example- measuring cup, oil for pan or even a decent non stick pan for pancakes.

Not comfortable

The house had a bit of an odor, like stale bar, but overall was clean,minus a few beer caps found on window sills. The folded towels in the house were very damp from laundering and I’m glad I checked bc they would have been smelly and funky the next day without going back in the dryer. The stair case is steep and narrow, not great for older people and the bathroom is on the first floor by the kitchen not upstairs by the bedrooms. Again if your older not a safe trip down the stairs in the middle of the night. The check in was a bit unwelcoming.Check-in is at 4:00 and we arrived at 4:30 without the check-in info ,then messaged the owner and no responce on how to get in. By luck, I turned the door knob to find the house unlocked. My friend and I entered and got situatated and almost 30 minutes later he sent over the code for the electric door lock...again if your older and have never used an electric door knob, could be a situation. My friend that came along would have been lost in the process. The location of this house was nice,the restaurants and views of the beach made the stay ok. We spent much of the day in Newport and it was about a 20 min drive away. The average temp was cool and in the 50's with a wind chill and drafty windows.The smart thermostat was also monitored by the owner, at some point the thermostat was readjusted from 70 to 65 degrees unknowingly and we had a unwelcoming cool night sleeping on the last night.

Awesome Family Vacation Home

This trip meant the world to me.We not only got to visit with our daughter we haven’t seen in a year we also got to take our youngest children with us and it was their first time seeing and being in the Ocean and their first time going to the zoo. Jeremy was an awesome host he answered my text right away and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.If you are thinking about renting a place for a family vacation do not hesitate on booking this house. Pleasant stay, handled the Internet/TV issue very well.

The Cottage was clean and ready to receive guests. Two of the three bedrooms could have had the beds made vice just linen and comforters laid on the beds. No pillow cases on the pillows in those rooms either. The back yard was a bit overgrown but halfway through the stay someone came and cut the grass, I feel that that should have been done BEFORE we checked in. The internet/TV went out early in our stay, the property manager tried to repair it quickly but was unable. I received a Prompt compensation for the inconvenience. Nicely handled. A few more night lights would have been nice (one per bedroom?) Overall a 4 out of 5 stars. I would stay there again! Dave S.
