Chestnut Cabin is a 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom newly restored cabin, originally built in 1910 and tucked into the Rhododendron, wisteria and hydrangea at the end of a quiet street but only steps from downtown Mentone.

Constructed of the original Chestnut wood from 1910, and the original native stone in a contemporary rustic style, the professionally decorated cabin is both architecturally stunning and homey, with a warm, welcoming ambiance that will make you feel instantly at ease. On the main level, the living area features a large wood burning fireplace constructed with native stone. The 50” ultra-high definition TV is equipped with Apple TV, soundbar and wifi for streaming your favorite apps.
Adjacent the living room, the open kitchen is a cook's dream, with solid wood cabinets, stone countertops, stainless appliances including range, refrigerator, an ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffeemaker, toaster and all cookware and serving pieces you need. There's room for six at the dining table plus three at the breakfast bar. Or you can fire up the charcoal grill and dine outside as you take in the view from the wrap around screened porch with fans and comfy seating or from the stone patio, enjoying the peace and quiet of Mentone. You'll also find plenty of seating areas, and a fire pit to gather around.

For indoor fun, head to the living room for cards and board games! Or head on outdoors for a game of cornhole or stories, memories and s’mores around the firepit!

At bedtime, you'll slumber in comfort in one of three bedrooms, all on one level. The main bedroom features a king bed, luxurious bedding, decorative fireplace, AppleTV, large floor to ceiling windows, patio access, and en-suite bath featuring a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a Queen bed, luxurious bedding, decorative fireplace, smart TV, and en-suite bath with claw foot tub. The third bedroom features two full size beds with luxurious bedding.
