Offrant le bon mĂ©lange de confort de crĂ©ature et de simplicitĂ© Ă©lĂ©gante, vous apprĂ©cierez cette maison de vacances Ă  la mode post-faisceau toutes les quatre saisons. Il est situĂ© sur un lac prĂ©servĂ© du Maine qui offre d'excellentes possibilitĂ©s de baignade, de kayak, de pĂȘche et de plus belles vues sur les montagnes. Les fenĂȘtres, les puits de lumiĂšre et le plafond cathĂ©drale s'illuminent de lumiĂšre naturelle, trois ensembles de curseurs se connectent Ă  l'extĂ©rieur, le plan d'Ă©tage ouvert encourage la vie de famille et les chambres offrent toutes une vue sur le lac ou la forĂȘt. La maison est centrĂ©e sur un poĂȘle Ă  bois confortable, 2 terrasses au bord du lac, un porche Ă  manger blindĂ©, un rivage et un quai privĂ©.

Il est facile de diner, que vous grilliez sur le pont, piqueniez au bord de l’eau, ouvriez une bouteille de vin sur la vĂ©randa ou que vous prĂ©pariez la table Ă  8. Vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin dans la cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e.

Les locataires sont invités à utiliser nos 4 kayaks, canoë, paddle board et chaloupe.

Les activitĂ©s printaniĂšres et estivales incluent la natation et la pĂȘche au large des quais, la navigation de plaisance, la voile, la randonnĂ©e, le ski, le tubing, le vĂ©lo, le tennis, le golf et un siĂšge au premier rang pour une exposition de huards, balbuzards, aigles, hĂ©rons et canards.

L'automne est exceptionnel. Profitez de tout ce qui précÚde avec une toile de fond de feuillage spectaculaire. Ne manquez pas les foires de campagne, des festivals de pomme, et expositions d'antiquités. Profitez de hamacs le jour et d'un feu chaud la nuit.

En hiver et au printemps, profitez du ski de classe mondiale dans la station de ski Sunday River et du ski familial au mont Abram. La NorvÚge est la capitale mondiale de la raquette à neige. Faites un tour chez nous. Le lac est votre cour, alors apportez vos patins, vos piÚges à glace et vos skis de ski de fond. Des sentiers de motoneige parcourent la région.

À deux heures et demie de Boston, vous profiterez de cette maison de vacances au cours des quatre saisons glorieuses.

Paula’s house was wonderful for our family reunion - the photos don’t do it justice! There were so many different watercraft available for our use, and puzzles and games to use - and it’s clear the house is well-maintained and cared for. The lake was so peaceful - the noisiest thing was the loons! We loved our stay!

Peaceful Waterfront Vacation

Our family had a wonderful vacation stay at your home in Norway, Maine! The house was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. North Pond itself was lovely. It was a perfect, peaceful place to fish, kayak, and canoe. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would. We loved it!!!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had another wonderful stay at this lake house. It is so well appointed with a variety of boats, games, and everything you could once in the kitchen. I needed a potato masher and a garlic press and they were all there! From the fire pit outside to the woodburning stove in the living room, we enjoyed the loons, the deer, and the muskrat we found kayaking around the pond. What a wonderful place to bring a family for a long weekend. Comfortable beds, a large living room with an open kitchen, and the glorious screen porch for breakfast and dinners looking out on the lake. Our seven year old believes this is “his “cabin to go to in the summer.

Spectacular Cabin on Secluded Pond

The pictures do a disservice to this place. It was beautiful, spacious, clean, well appointed, in great shape and had more amenities than my own home!

Peaceful and Tranquil

It was exactly what was described. It was exactly what we needed. The lakeview was absolutely beautiful as well as the mountain view. It was very quiet. I hope to stay there again in the future.

Norway Ski & Skate Adventure

The property was great -- really enjoyed the layout of the house with the central fireplace and the view of the lake. My son really enjoyed sleeping in the top floor/loft area with a sky light directly above his bed -- he was able to fall asleep while literally gazing at the stars. Plenty of room for all and then some. We enjoyed a few days of skiing at Sunday River and some quiet time ice skating on the pond -- overall a wonderful few days in Maine!! Paula was very helpful with providing clear check-in/check-out instructions, and some recommendations as to restaurants in the area -- she was a great host! I would certainly return with my family to enjoy this property in any season!

We had a great time here again. Just one thing that may or may not be the norm now is that sheets / towels are not provided. That is an inconvenience but well communicated by the owner.

Great place to stay!!

We had a really nice stay at this North Pond house. Very comfortable, clean, and fun. Great open gathering area, great views of pond (frozen during our stay), nice wood stove, and good communications and instructions from the host. We were there for skiing at Mt. Abram & Sunday River and had a great time.

Peaceful relaxing fun!

The property was all I expected it to be. The home was clean and well cared for and located in a very peaceful neighborhood. We were able to kayak with the loons. The family time spent playing the games on site and creating beautiful puzzles was much needed! There were also many sites around the area to explore and hike. The hosts were very informative and a pleasure to work with, I would definitely rent this property again!

Amazing!! Great place to relax.

Loons, deer, eagles, fish, solitude and relaxation aplenty!! Awesome place for families to spend quality family time together. Remote enough to feel “away from it all” but close enough to local amenities. Kids loved the kayaks (and the adults loved them too)! Cottage was very homey and offered everything we would ever need! Loved it!

Great stay at the camp

We had a fabulous time.. Paula provided all the essentials to make a waterfront vacation very exciting. Plenty of kayaks, games, and places to lounge while enjoying the water and scenery. We accommodated 6 adults and 3 kids with room to spare. Very well worth the trip and stay at the camp. We plan to return next year.

Lovely Lakeside Cottage

The teens unplugged from their electronics and had a blast on the lake and enjoyed playing board games/ping pong/foosball. My husband & I also enjoyed kayaking and visiting the local brewery in town. Thank you for sharing your house with us :)

I stayed here with my parents who are in their 70's and 80's .

The house was perfect for my group of five as my parent's were able to have the bedroom on the first floor with the full bath and not have to climb stairs. The open concept was perfect and the screened in porch was awesome, we ate our meals out there and were able to enjoy being outside with out the pesky black flies bothering us. We enjoyed the kayaks and the loons put us to sleep every night! I will definitely book this place again!!

Lakeside calm

The property was homey and welcoming. The house was laid out in away that made it easy for my Mom to move around with her walker. My husband and I loved drinking our coffee while looking out at the water. The home was clean and cared for. The directions to the location were accurate and easy to follow, even in the dark. I would stay there again if ever I return to the area.

taking the kids ice fishing

Wonderful spot for a kid's ice fishing trip! Walk right onto the ice to set traps and build a fire in the fire pit to watch the flags. Lots of action as the lake is full of largemouth bass. Our children had a blast chasing the flags! The house was roomie and easily accommodated our two familys. We would definitely repeat.

FANTASTIC GETAWAY

Spent the weekend ice fishing on North pond. The property was beautiful and very accommodating for our group. It has everything you need and so much more. It’s a must stay again next year for our annual ice fishing trip. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful winter weekend

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful house. The location was perfect, and we had easy access to skiing. The space was great for cooking and hanging out, and we especially loved the game room in the basement. Paula was very easy to communicate with.

Even better than expected!

We were lucky enough to have a brief after Christmas vacation at the cabin. It was wonderful. We had two families (4 kids total) and it fit us with plenty of room to spare. We loved the basement which had foozball and pool and ping pong. We also took advantage of some ice fishing equipment-- we only caught a few but it entertained the kids all weekend long. Just a beautiful location and Paula was so kind and accomodating. I can't recommend it enough. We will be back!

Perfect getaway

This house was perfect, even bigger than what I thought. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Waking up in the master bedroom to the view of the frozen lake was a gorgeous backdrop. There was only six of us but this house could sleep several more. I’d imagine this property is amazing in summer and fall as well, we’ll have to make another trip up! Thanks for sharing your home with us.
