This home, fully renovated in 2023, combines modern design with luxury finishes. The open layout features new appliances, designer furnishings, and two spacious living rooms that flow effortlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces. The backyard includes a stylish dip pool, and the master suite offers complete privacy with no shared walls. It is a perfect blend of sophistication and comfort for a few seconds. It offers three bedrooms, three baths, and an amazing backyard to enjoy nice Socal weather.

LUX 3 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms Pool Home

This home is in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of LA - the best neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley and a very safe neighborhood. The location is great. It is close to Universal Studio. It is close to 101 and 405, so it is very easy to get around and travel to your point of interest.

- Upon entering the house, you will find yourself in the first beautiful living room, with a sofa bed, a couple of accent chairs, and a 65-inch TV.

- Behind the first living room is the second living room with another 65-inch TV, a couch, and an accent chair. The second living room is connected to the back yard with a desk, outdoor dining table, egg chair, a beautiful pool, and basketball hoop

- We are not refilling the propane gas tank. You can bring one to Home Depot to exchange. It is cheaper to exchange than to buy a new one
- Please keep noise to a minimum and do not disturb the neighbors

IMPORTANT: POOL
1. If the pool is used and you take out the vacuum, you must put it back in when done using the pool. The Vacuum is what keeps walls and floors clean of bacteria.
2. The intake line “hose” must be disconnected before it is taken out of the pool. Otherwise, it sucks air and will ruin the pump.
3. Do not remove the tablet dispenser from the pool. Can’t keep the pool clean without that equipment running.

Other Things to Note
-For any stay longer than 30 days, there is a utilities cap of $400.
The cap applies to water, electricity, and gas.
Trash, Wi-Fi, lawn care, and pool service are included.
If your usage exceeds the utilities cap, you will be responsible for the excess.

The location was great! One issue was that the windows are painted shut so we were unable to open them and it was warm outside. It was clean and comfortable with 6 guests. Maybe provide a few more cooking and kitchen cleaning essentials, paper towels, etc.

We would definitely rent this home again. The host was fantastic - very responsive. The location was great. The 20-year-olds took a 15 min.Uber to Universal and others were able to hike in the beautiful Wilacre Park - both locations were convenient. The house was very comfortable for 5 adults - and it was wonderful to have the three bathrooms. The septic overflowed, but it was resolved in several hours. (Cleaning up the septic spillage was difficult as linens and cleaning supplies were very sparse).

This property was a nightmare! There was someone still in the property when we tried to check in after 4pm and a dog! We were refunded and moved to another place. Please remove this listing from VRBO.

Home was beautiful just as pictured. Roomy enough for wheelchair accessibility (just a note for wheelchair users, the step outside and step up to doorway is a bit high but manageable. And parking on the street has a wheelchair access to sidewalk). The outdoor area and could use some maintenance and cleaning but still a very nice place to stay. The description states Universal Studios is within walking distance but its actually DRIVING distance, very close by. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay

The location of this property is perfect, whole foods and Starbucks within walking distance, a shopping mall, and restaurants. The property is also a perfect location for all the tourists attractions. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and had all the amenities needed for a family. We can’t recommend this place enough, and Ella was the perfect host.

Property is in a great location. Close to groceries and freeways for easy access. Our boys enjoyed the pool. The beds were comfortable as well. Overall the house is great! A few items to note - they don’t provide wash cloths or hand towels which we weren’t notified about until after we had left our house out of state so didn’t have a chance to bring our own. They provided towels though which is great. Although the quality of the towels were very thin for being a “Lux” property. Also, the kitchen is pretty limited with its glass wear. We have a VRBO property of our own and these are the items that are important to us.

I have never been charged for early check in before.Says can sleep 10 but I didn’t see the possibility of fitting 2 more people in the home. We were 8 of which 4 were kids so they could share the twin beds with their siblingsAlso not enough silverware to feed 8 Neighborhood is good

Absolutely wonderful stay!

This home was everything we were hoping for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained everything was. There was plenty of room for everyone in our large party to relax comfortably, and every corner of the house was spotless.The neighborhood was peaceful and safe, which gave us an added sense of comfort during our stay. We also appreciated how easy it was to access the property. Check-in instructions were clear and entry was seamless.Communication with the owner was top-notch. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed before, during, and after our stay. When I messaged with a question late one evening, it was answered within minutes. It truly made the experience feel personal and stress-free.I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Great stay!

We recently stayed for the weekend, February 9-11. We visited Universal Studios and Hollywood during our stay. This is a great option and stay for families. Although, it was too cold to use the pool, it is nice to have a private pool and hot tub. The only thing we were a little bummed about was not able to use the EV charger to charge our vehicle and parked in the driveway, due to repairs needed for gate, which the owner told us about when booking. However, we were able to charge our vehicle at Universal Studios parking garage. Overall, great stay and would stay again in the future!! The neighborhood was very safe, where we did not worry about parking our vehicle on the street. This property is very close to Universal studios about a 5 minute drive on a Saturday. Also, we had great communication with Ella!

This was a very disappointing stay. I should have been tipped off when I requested to book and the host said the property is in Sherman Oaks (not Universal City as the listing shows). I was ok with since it’s not that much farther from Universal Studios. On arrival, the unit was already occupied — it had been double-booked. After hours of back-and-forth, we were placed in another property 40 minutes away, with the promise that Uber costs would be covered since we had no car. Additionally there weren’t enough beds and my husband slept on the couch but we were ok with it since it was only 1 night. That other unit also had issues: no hot water, and a broken stove and microwave but again, it was only one night. To be fair, they did originally offer one night of hotel but all 5 adults 2 kids 1 dog wouldn’t have fit into a hotel room and no quality hotels take dogs. We eventually moved into the original property, which matched the listing but was more noticeably more worn than the photos suggest and could use updating. After checkout, the host refused to reimburse the agreed Uber costs, leaving us with extra expenses on top of the inconvenience. It isn’t about the money but more that the host didn’t seem very empathetic about our situation (try traveling with 2 little kids, waiting around for 4 hours) or sorry about the double-booking.

I would not recommend this property. When we arrived, the home was clearly not cleaned properly. The floors were dirty, the carpets were stained, and both the kitchen and showers were not clean. The outdoor deck was so filthy it actually stained our shoes and even my kids’ clothes.There were zero cleaning essentials provided—not even basic items like dish soap or a sponge. It felt like no effort was made to prepare the home for guests.To make matters worse, after our stay, the host messaged me saying “stained carpets,” trying to claim damage that was already there when we arrived. I responded and let them know I had photo proof showing the carpets were already stained. They claimed the cleaners reported “damage,” but when I asked what damage specifically, they never responded. Then I woke up to a charge on my card for these supposed damages.The host was not communicative, dishonest, and clearly trying to take advantage of guests. I would strongly caution anyone considering this property. It was a frustrating experience from beginning to end.Attached is a photo of the rug the day we arrived

This house looks beautiful in photos, but our stay was extremely disappointing.* Safety: The sidewalk directly in front of the gate is dangerously broken and a serious tripping hazard.* Amenities: The house is stocked at the bare minimum. Only one bath mat per bathroom (you have to choose whether it goes at the sink or shower), budget commercial toilet paper (just a couple of rolls provided), and a nearly empty bottle of dishwasher detergent. No basic cooking essentials like oil, salt, or pepper. The IKEA dishware was fine, but the cutlery was cheap and oddly small — not at all practical for cooking or serving a group. The cooking utensils were a complete array of plastic essentials from the dollar store.* Towels & supplies: For 8 guests, we had to request extra towels and were told to retrieve them from a locked supply closet, which felt very unwelcoming.* Bathrooms: Some have odd heat bulbs that make them uncomfortably hot.* Parking & host requests: Only street parking is available, and on garbage day we were instructed to bring in the cans ourselves — ironic, considering how restricted we were from accessing basic supplies.* ECO Mode AC: the house has a smart thermostat, but we didn’t realize it was set to an eco setting based on a sensor, so the AC would turn off when we reached the house and the place would be baking like an oven upon our return. The host has clearly staged the home for photo but once you arrive, you realize how little effort has been made.
