This is my second time booking this lovely apartment , And once again me and my boyfriend enjoyed ourselves! it was clean peaceful and quiet will definitely be back.

The property has a security gate which was appealing. However, it was open the entire 4-day stay. The security light at the doorway was also out which made for a very dark entrance. There were a couple of broken items (bathroom tissue holder, lamp). What was most disappointing was the urine odor on the couch. I had been looking forward to spending time reading, but was not able to do that because of the strong odor. The rest of the unit was clean. It would be a very nice place to stay if these items were addressed.

The unit is very centrally located. Convenient to many places. However, upon check in the unit had a natural odor in the bedroom and bathroom area. We arrived late so we decided to stay, hoping that we would get used to the smell. Upon waking, our allergies were going crazy. So I checked the a c unit to find that the filter was very dirty and there was a good amount of dust in Ac unit closet and slats to the door. There was mold around the vent in the bathroom. The listing stated the unit was "Newly Renovated ", which did not appear to be the case. There were broken and missing fixtures in the bathroom area,hole in the wall and missing slats in the blinds. When notified about the odor and air filter the host was very quick to respond and have it changed, however we left a night early because of the smell and dust.

We arrived late at night and found the rental absolutely filthyDirty dishes, trash piled up and ROTTEN, all towels used and in the dirty clothes bin, hair in the shower, etc. We immediately looked for a hotel and left. Upon being able to communicate with the host the next morning we were told the cleaning crew did not show. Vrbo initially told me they could not refund money and it would be up to the host. Thankfully , host was apologetic and agreed to a refund which we are grateful for. Said he was unaware cleaning crew had emergency until after he reached out regarding condition of the unit. Entire weekend trip was ruined due to stress and having to find a place to lay our head last minute due to conditions. We were there for a sports tournament and everything decent was booked.Although communication with host was great and he was very kind, I would recommend that as a host there is some communication or follow up with cleaning crew if expecting a new client coming. Aside from the condition of the unit, it did not appear to be decorated or set up like listing photos (either photos are old or were AI enhanced)
