“Can we come here every year?” Our kids

The title sums it up… great location, amazing house, over the top hosts, unbelievable views… our week was awesome!!! To have all 4 of our kids love the same thing never happened until this house. Highly recommend!!!

This house was as wonderful in person as you see in the photos. Everything was easy. We couldn’t have had a better time. Plan on booking again for next year!

Super cute!

The cottage was super cute and immaculately clean. Kitchen was well stocked (thankfully there were coffee filters because that was something I didn’t think of bringing). View was awesome as it is feet from the water. Host was great with clear communication and easy check in. While technically it could sleep 7, it would be tight for 7 adults, especially for tall people as the beds are in charming built in cubbies. But perfect for a family.

Amazing!

Wonderful stay!! My family had the best time. Our first time going to a lake with all the kids. We have 4 boys. Very comfortable. All of the neighbors were amazing and very friendly. We caught lots of fish. The house is brand new & very nice. We enjoyed the 2 kayaks, swimming off the dock, bonfire, & grilling. We would recommend this property to any family!

Lakeside bliss :-)

Everyone loved their stay at this lakeside house with a serene and picturesque view of the Owasco lake. The entire house was impeccably clean and up-to-date. The kitchen was fully equipped and neatly organized. The upstairs bedroom area was brilliantly designed; it was very cozy, the comfortable beds and fresh linens made it feel like sleeping on a cloud :D The owner was very responsive and accommodating, and the welcome book was well-prepared and informative, making the check-in and check-out process a breeze. I would highly, highly recommend this charming place to anyone looking for their next getaway. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and create unforgettable memories with your loved ones.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! We came from Canada to enjoy some time away in upstate New York, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The cottage was spotless, cozy, well-equipped, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing getaway.We spent our days fishing, kayaking, and making unforgettable memories together. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery made it the perfect place to unwind and reconnect as a family.Thank you for sharing your amazing cottage with us. We truly appreciated all the care that has gone into making it such a special place. We would absolutely love to come back and stay again in the future. When we got to the vrbo it was very hot inside. When we wanted to use the kayaks there was one normal size kayak and than one youth size kayak and we had to clean both off they were covered in spiders and dirt. I will say the owners father lives next door he was nice and very helpful. I didn't like how the bathroom window didn't have a curtain on it because you can see right in to the neighbors window. We did enjoy our stay though we caught alot of rock bass and perch and a couple bass and enjoyed a nice sunset. But will probably look somewhere different next time wasn't worth the price.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the fishing, sunsets, and found our neighbor helpful during your stay. We were surprised by some of your comments, as this is the first review mentioning these concerns after many 5-star stays. The bungalow is thoroughly cleaned and inspected between guests, including the outdoor amenities. Because the property is located directly on the water, occasional spiders and debris can accumulate outdoors between cleanings, particularly around the kayaks and dock. Regarding the kayaks, the listing accurately reflects the equipment provided. One of the kayaks in a sit-down-in kayak which is longer with storage space and the kayak you’re referring to is a sit-on-top style, which is designed to be slightly shorter and wider with no storage space. We appreciate your feedback about the bathroom window and will evaluate whether additional privacy measures would improve the guest experience. We strive to provide a great value and experience for every guest and are sorry that the property did not fully meet your expectations. We appreciate your stay and wish you all the best.
