We had an amazing stay at this beach condo! Everything was spotless when we arrived, and it had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect. The condo is within walking distance of a couple public beaches. It was quiet and off the beaten path, but still close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer. It was the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway, and we’d definitely come back again!

This was an excellent space; better than the pictures. Beautiful pool. FYI- the condo is in Tower 1, which is the right side tower as you pull in (I don't recall getting that instruction and we were confused as there are 2 Towers). If you are a coffee drinker, bring your own coffee if you are staying more than 2 days. There is a Keurig and regular brew machine. Having a washing machine/dryer helped a lot. I had a few issues the first couple of days- not with the condo itself, just other building related things, and Breathe Easy was super responsive via text. Be prepared for what I think is a routine power spray down of the pool cushions between 7:30-8:30am on Mondays (super loud!!!). Our 12 and 13 year old enjoyed the bunk beds/their own TVs.

Tipsy Turtle was a wonderful retreat!

This condo is very nicely updated with all the amenities you need. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Though we spent majority of our time out at the beach, it felt like a retreat coming back to the condo every night. We also appreciated the proximity to the beaches and privacy of entering the property. We intend to come back next year.

Just what we expected

This property was everything we expected based on the pictures and the description. It is nicely decorated, updated, and filled with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. It was also impeccably cleaned! It is easily accessible and having an assigned parking space in the garage is a plus. Check in was easy and we were contacted by the management via a phone call the day we arrived and later on through text messages. There is a private enclosed sandy beach area available for the property. There is a lovely pool area and a public beach a short walk down the street. Overall, we had a great stay.

We absolutely loved this condo and the customer service that came with it. Our host was always very fast and responsive and it made the stay smooth. The beach situation is not ideal and the construction next door was very loud. If you don’t mind driving a short distance to a beach the condo would be perfect. We have a 2 year old so that made the beach situation a little more difficult. Pool and views were amazing! And so was the condo so once the construction is done next door I could see it being a very peaceful stay!

Spring Break 2024

My husband and I and our 3 granddaughters had a wonderful stay at the Tipsea Turtle! It was very clean, close to the pool and the beach, as well as restaurants and shopping. I loved having a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The only complaint I would have is not being able to park a golf cart on the property. Although we did rent a golf cart at Wet, just down the road and they allowed us to park it there. Overall, a great and safe place to stay!

Thank you Michelle for your review of Tipsea Turtle. We are delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us and had fun checking out the entire area for dining and shopping. As far as the golf cart some resorts allow and some don't. It all depends on location, parking and whether the HOA's and management allows them on the property. We are happy that you found the solution. Please let us know if we can help with another vacation time in Destin, we would love to be your host again. Have a wonderful summer, and thanks for choosing Breathe Easy. Your Breathe Easy Care Team
