I highly recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in Grindelwald. It’s very spacious and offers beautiful views from every part of the house. It’s conveniently close to the bus stop and within walking distance to food and grocery stores.

Place is nice, thats about it

Booked this for family of 5 for 4 nights, mid summer stay. Decent price. Very difficult to find. Poorly communicated instructions.Check in process was fine. was quite warm, and there is no A/C in virtually any lodging in Switzerland. Tried to leave the windows open but the flies were crazy. Asked about fans which were not available. Very little available to help with cooking. No oils, not much for spices, etc. We did some of ourown cooking, which involved buying everything ourselves. The bedding of the queen bed was crazy hot. Europeans do not use a top sheet, but often a sheet to cover the mattress. Our bed in this unit had what felt like a bath towel over the mattress, and 1 down comforter on top. Very uncomfortable and very hot.If you THINK there may be anyone staying in your unit from the US, why not make a top and bottom sheet available? The towels looked like they have been used for years. In all, decent place, but owner appears to place zero effort in this place, aside from cleaning. And location requiring navigating a bus to, from Grindelwald further complicates things. Decent place, but I'd stay somewhere closer to the train station if I stayed in Grindelwald again.

Zermatt Extraordinaire

Goed verblijf

Leuk appartement, alles wat er moet zijn is er, niet meer of niet minder. Mooi uitzicht. We dachten dat we aan de piste zouden zitten, dit is echter niet waar, het appartement ligt aan een heel klein oefengebiedje voor beginnende skiërs en er is geen aansluiting naar de rest van het gebied.

Nice appartment

Enough space for 5 adults. Kitchen complete equipped, nice balcony at the sun side, garage is small, not suitable with a ski box or large car. Very nice close to the Bodmi bus station, and there you can also ski towards the First cable car station.

Nice property, great view

The property was clean and well stocked. The mountain views from the porch and interior (including the shower!) were great. The host was very responsive and accommodating. It is quite a walk from the downtown and train station, but nice and quiet. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful vacation

We really liked the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The apartment is very well equipped. Nothing is missing. The view out of the window is amazing. The garage parking space is unfortunately too small for slightly larger cars, the public parking lots nearby are very expensive. But we found a good solution with the owner.We can recommend the accommodation!Thank you very much!

A lovely retreat

This location is a bit up the mountain (I'm sure it is fantastic for skiing but we visited in August). As such, it is away from the nutty tourist centre and the views are fantastic. The local bus service is super efficient and a brilliant way to get to the top if you do not want to hike the slope up. The flat itself is spacious and bright. It was amenable to self-catering, and had excellent laundry facilities.

Incredible location, wonderful home

This was our favorite stay on a 2 week trip. The host was wonderful in providing very detailed instructions well in advance, along with a bus pass and travel cards that netted discounts. We easily found and accessed the place and were dazzled by the views and the great layout of the place- it is very spacious and cozy and a pleasure to be in. If you need groceries, there is a great COOP with parking a quick drive down the hill. The apartment has all you need to prepare great meals and the kitchen is well laid out. We truly didn’t want to leave and hope to return. A true gem!
