Play a game of pool in the basement. Cook your favorite meals within the full kitchen, or grill your feast in the stone grill out back. Outdoor firepit located just out front of the cabin. I scrolled through several cabins before finally landing on this one, and I am beyond grateful that I did. From my first time seeing the pictures, I just felt like it was going to be perfect, and it was. If you’re looking for that true cabin feel, this is the place for you. The artwork, the decor, everything was perfect. The hot tub was amazing and so easy to use. The first thing we did when we walked in the door was set up the crockpot to make dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook our meal. Bring your own spices, but beyond that, you're ready.

We chose the Fernwood Cabin for a long weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and reading by the wood burning fireplace. The cabin has a lot of rustic charm and the skylights over the loft bedroom are a nice touch. The host was very responsive to our questions. This is a great cabin to spend a cold winter weekend relaxing.

Clean cabin and beds were comfortable. Everything we wanted to do in the area was within 15-20min max. Their was a game were you find a set amount of doller bills hidden around the cabin then sign it when found. Such a fun idea and kept us looking all weekend! Would recommend this cabin

Property was as depicted, cabin was clean and nice. Hot tub was spacious and clean. We had a great weekend at this property and will come back. Communication with the property manager was easy and straightforward they were even able to coordinate an early check in for our group.

The Fernwood cabin was the perfect little base camp for our Hocking Hills excursion. It was cozy, comfy, and clean. The hot tub was perfect after the long days on the trails. We will definitely be back.

The cabin is conveniently located for the area. It's on a defined road, but back far enough that you're secluded to the point that you forget the road is there. The location is very peaceful.The hot tub is such a joy, both to start your day and to relax after the day's adventures. The unit is very clean and has all the amenities needed. The vaulted ceilings and loft bedroom create a very cozy environment. The pool table was a definite plus as well.The host is very responsive. Only had one issue that we needed help with (locating the light switch for the light over the table...LOL) Host answered immediately and was very personable.We absolutely loved the cabin and would definitely recommend a visit.The only thing that could make this cabin better would be more comfortable chairs for the porch or maybe a little bistro set so you could even eat out on tbe porch.

The hot tub was definitely warm enough but didnt have hardly any pressure coming out of the jets that was actually working. Owner did try to get it looked at but was unable too so our stay was not as enjoyable as we would have liked. Better pressure out of the jets after a day of hiking the trails would have made it an awesome get away.

We loved our stay at the Fernwood Cabin. It was secluded enough for privacy yet close to anything we wanted to do. Nick was quick to respond to any questions before we even booked our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Check in was easy and check out too. Host was very friendly and quick to respond to all questions. Nice secluded property that was 8-25 minutes from major tourist hiking locations. It was also only 8-10 minutes from the town of Logan with several nice dining opportunities.

I stayed at this property with two close friends for an annual camping trip. We have always done tent camping, but chose to splurge a little for the fifth year of this tradition, and we could not have been more pleased with our stay.The cabin is a cozy, private getaway nestled in the woods, a good distance away from the road and neighboring properties. You might hear the occasional car pass, but we did not find it disturbing. The beds were clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and extra blankets. We cooked multiple meals in the kitchen (fully stocked), enjoyed them by the fire, and spent hours in the hot tub, which was also very clean and fully functioning. Nick was a perfect host, providing explicit instructions for check-in/out and responding promptly (within a few minutes) to any questions we had via VRBO chat. He never bothered us with unprompted messages during our stay.My friends and I also enjoyed the Ash Cave hike in Hocking Hills State Forest and Logan Lake, both of which were a short drive through the winding forest roads.I moved to Arizona 5 years ago, and all year long, I look forward to this annual trip to reconnect with my loved ones and the beauty of the Midwest. I can confidently say that our stay here accomplished this. Thank you, Nick!

The cabin was very beautiful. Could've used a queen sized bed for us taller people, and the driveway was a little bit rough for having a car, would recommend a truck or suv.

Easy check-in,code on the door ready, and very clean cabin. We also played pool and ping-pong in the evenings. There is a nice fire pit as well. Kitchen had cookware ready for use. You can just clean up the cabin and checkout on your own by just packing up the car and leaving. 4-wheel drive may be best for the driveway. We thought it was fun to drive up it, but it may be more challenging without 4-wheel drive.

My wife and I have been celebrating our anniversary in Hocking Hills for over ten years, and ten of them have been at Fernwood. When the previous owner decided to retire, we didn't want to risk losing it and decided to continue the journey for ourselves and others that wanted a peaceful getaway.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Fernwood Cabin definitely shows off the Hills part of Hocking Hills. The front drive is a bit steep, but we've had cars, trucks, vans, semi-trucks, front wheel, rear wheel, all-wheel drive vehicles visit with no issues. Just be aware it's an uphill drive and plan accordingly, please.
