Casita De Agua Encanto, Natural Hot Mineral Spring Property

This historic 1928 cottage is simple, spare and peaceful. It is a couple of blocks walking distance to the historic town, shops, restaurants, grocery store & brewery.
Completely private on a corner lot with a walled backyard. The mineral spring well on the property comes out of the ground naturally at 102 degrees for your personal enjoyment. There are 2 cowboy tubs for your soaking enjoyment; a single tub that fills in 3 minutes & an 8’ tub for your entire group that fills in 20 minutes.
This cottage has 2 bedrooms, shared bathroom, full kitchen with breakfast nook, living room with a gas fireplace constructed of specimen rocks and a small gas grill out back.
The house is pet friendly with a fully enclosed backyard and a pet waste station. In town your dog will enjoy swimming in the Rio Grande from Rotary Park and visiting the dog park.
We hope you will find our place as peaceful and relaxing as we do.

This place is very nice. I would definitely come back here. It’s an older home, but it’s well kept the bathroom was very nice. The kitchen is very well stocked, and they even include coffee, sugar and tea. The soaking tubs were awesome. We fell in love with them. They feel fast and the water is plenty warm.

The property was nicely landscaped, and the home was clean and comfortable.We enjoyed the big pool and appreciated that the home owners provided bug spray and citronella candles (dumb mosquitos!).Glad we were able to stay for 2 nights!Barb & Tom

The soak tub in the back had stagnant water with moss growing in it and made it very slippery to get in and had an unclean feel More comfortable dining chairs in kitchen would be great

Nice house, as advertised. Back yard is very nice place to relax and enjoy. Good shade, plants and gravel yard. Good porch. Back yard is perfect for dogs- both small and large with a good fence and lots to explore.The hot springs tub and water is amazing. Good temperature, great water, and a relaxing environment.2 beds and 1 bath. Good towels (bathroom, kitchen, hot springs), decent kitchen with coffee makers (Keurig and drip) and tea kettle. Enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Little Things that Make a BIG Difference

We can't say enough good things about Art, property manger Danny, or Casita De Agua Encanto. Like the name suggests, the property and the house are chock full of Land of Enchantment Charm and thoughtful little details and personal touches that make a good place-GREAT! We didn't want to leave... and as long-time T or C/Elephant Butte visitors and lovers, we consider it our other home, and now we will consider Casita De Agua Encanto our home away from home too! Hope to stay again SOON and OFTEN!

Wonderful place!

This is a great place! I appreciate that they kept the lovely old features of the house, while providing modern touches (such as charging nightstands). The enclosed back yard is fabulous for dogs, and the dog waste station is a nice touch. While we didn't have time to use the "cowboy hot tubs", those are a wonderful addition as well. We hope to stay here again!

Wonderful updated property located walking distance to all the great hot springs locations. And if you want to stay in you have access to hot springs in the backyard! Friendly host, available to support throughout our stay. Definitely recommend!

Love the personal mineral springs!

The highlight of the property is the personal mineral springs in the backyard. We used that daily. Very easy and convenient. The house is located within walking distance to grocery store and other hot springs. The beds were very comfy. The furnace, as reported by owner, is loud.

The place was really nice, and the hot springs stock tanks were fantastic. We had two couples, stay would be better for one couple and some kids, second bedroom a little tight. Great location and place lived good.

We love staying at Art’s property. The addition of the sunshade over the table with the misters makes a summer getaway perfect. We love the personal cowboy tubs too. This was our second time staying here and plan on booking again.
