Chercher le paradis? La voici au El Matador! Doit être le plus recherché des lieux de villégiature en famille sur la côte d'Émeraude. Un condominium isolé niché entre les belles dunes de sable blanc et les eaux émeraudes scintillantes du golfe du Mexique.

El Matador est vraiment une station balnéaire. À seulement trois kilomètres du boulevard Santa Rosa, au bout de l’île, vous nous trouverez, isolés mais à quelques minutes seulement de toutes les commodités offertes par Destin et Fort Walton Beach. Seulement six miles sur l'autoroute. 98, vous pouvez profiter de Destin - «Le village de pêcheurs le plus chanceux au monde» - organisez une excursion privée ou emmenez les enfants dans un bateau pour le groupe et prenez le dîner. Pendant votre séjour à Destin, appréciez les restaurants raffinés, les boutiques et le golf sur les meilleurs terrains de golf de la Panhandle of Florida. Difficile de croire que vous aurez peut-être besoin d'un jour de congé de la plage, mais si vous emmenez votre famille au parc aquatique Big Kahunas, dans le centre du vieux Destin. Cette communauté fermée avec 13 km de plages non aménagées à l'ouest ne manquera pas de vous faire rêver.

Outstanding Property

We tried a new unit out after our last one on the property was a bust. This unit was excellent and far exceeding the prior one. Easy access to the beach and parking lot. Unit was in good shape and plenty of kitchen space. Only complaint I have is the morning sun blasting you as you sip some coffee on the patio, which isn’t really that big a deal anyway. Will stay again.

We always bring beach towels with us, you'll need to as well. I would absolutely rent this condo again. Beach chairs were a huge plus! Just find a non labeled set and let the rental guy know your condo number when he comes by. We had a wonderful stay! Perfect for all ages.

Dixie, you were at the Surf Dweller and you said that the unit had bed bugs, so we moved you to another condo that was available, but, we gave you an option to call anyone to get a unit to move too. You choose to stay with us to this unit, there was nothing wrong with the first unit after it was inspected by BRYANT PEST CONTROL.. Sorry you were unhappy.

Love the El Matador

The El Matador never disappoints. We love the amenities and the updated condos. This unit had plenty of room and an amazing kitchen. The only suggestions I would make would be to put a memory foam mattress topper in the master bedroom and a better shower head in the guest bath. Otherwise it was a perfect stay!

The unit; although nice, needed some minor tending - outside doorwalls were very dirty - had to clean them so we could see out. Doorwall in living room did not have a functioning lock. Mattress in sleeper sofa most definitely needs replacement. Unit for 6 had five dinner forks. Other than these few minor complaints we had a wonderful time and plan on returning next spring.

Property was very well maintained, guards at gate super friendly. Loved the beach chair and kayak rental. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Recommend a new coffee pot, the one in unit is extremely slow to brew. Also need metal spatulas for grill.

Reviewer Comments: Sliding glass windows in the living area and bedroom would not open and became a safety hazard for fear they might fall from frame. Furniture was old and uncomfortable so I rented a recliner. Rented another unit 10 days into the month thus paying double therefore we shall not be returning. Weather was terrible but snowbirds were great.

Ypu walk right out of your back door and you are on grass, steps from the pool. The unit is always clean and this year we were surprised with a new couch and lamps.
