Everyone had a relaxing time and the parking was not a hassle either. Everyone had a nice clean bedrooms and bathrooms.

Beach/Fishing Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at the vacation rental!!! Great space, lots of comfortable beds, excellent hang out areas and it was very close to the beach and the jetty for great fishing! Only (sorta) downside - the kitchen is on the 3rd floor - great way to get your workout in everyday. We had a leak in the basement/game room on our last day - Padre Escapes sent someone right out and got it fixed. We would definitely stay again!!

Texas getaway for family reunion

The home was beautiful and close to the beach. There were 10 of us and we had more beds than we needed. Everyone enjoyed this cute condo as our temporary home away from home for a few days.

Week beach vaca

Booking was easy. Online info was accurate. The location was perfect for short walk to the beach even the three year old wasn’t complaining. Place was clean and well setup. Stayed for a week with four kids and seven grandkids. It was perfect! The only issues were kiddie pool accessories didn’t work and gates were hard to open house door lock also had issues and we got locked out once. Overall great place and I’d stay again!

Enjoyed our stay!

Plenty of room for our families and friends, kitchen on the third floor is definitely different but works out. Lots of stairs though, not ideal for toddlers. Easy and convenient walk to the beach!

Awesome

Excellent location and comfortable for a large group. We were a group of 6 families and everyone enjoyed the stay. The only drawback was to have the kitchen on the third floor but we could understand why the living and kitchen is on their floor - amazing views. Overall the best experience.

Large family getaway

This property was perfect for our large family with room to spare! The location was perfect for day and night trips to the beach. Away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, mornings and nights were perfect on the patio. Road access through the back gate was a plus. Having both pools to use was great! The heated pool was a little too warm for day use but made night swims perfect! Communication with management was easy and when we needed anything they were quick to reply and get things done. Everything worked great for us! We will definitely be staying again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and my 2 best friend’s families all stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful home. We had the best time ever! The location is perfect and conveniently located very close to the beach as described. The home was clean, beds neatly made, very well maintained overall.The only suggestions I’d have is to clean out sink drains in restrooms. The one in the room we stayed in was clogged, but I just cleaned it myself. (Didn’t think it was that big of a deal to call the property management) I’d also suggest fixing the lock on the 2nd floor room w/the pocket doors. Only other suggestion I’d have is to maybe change the doorknobs on the balcony doors. They were a bit hard to turn and open due to the sand that’s gotten in them over time. Other than that the home is great, very peaceful and had plenty of space. All three of our families were already discussing returning back! Thank you for allowing our families to spend quality time in your amazing home!

Great for family reunions

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this condo multiple times for our family reunion. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes, flatware and pots & pans. The beds are all very comfortable. We love the location of this particular three floor condo as there is no condo on one side. It has a great back area with artificial turf and a gate that opens to the road. This condo used to have a grill in the back but it is no longer there so we bought 2 cheap grills from Walmart. One thing to be aware of is that the kitchen and main living area are on the third floor so if you have anyone not able to navigate three flights of stairs DO NOT rent. It is within walking distance of the beach but we always rent golf carts due to the heat. The kids pool is right across the street and perfect for the small children. The bottom floor with four bunkbeds is not in the best location of the condo as the door to the parking lot is in that area and if you are sleeping people will be going in and out of that door and it tends to have the most sand on the floor. It also has a bit of a musty smell as well. Overall if you have a very large group this is definitely the place to rent.

Reviewer Comments: I was very satisficed with not only the property, but the professionalism the staff showed throughout the booking process, as well as rescheduling twice due to uncontrollable circumstances. The condo was clean and I really enjoyed the contemporary furnishings, cookware, utensils, coffee cups and dining ware. The condo was just the right size for my family and at the end I even had some 4-6 year old grandkids sad because we had to leave and telling me "I don't want to go, I want to live here." My only disappointment was that the grill was very dirty with caked on food debris from previous uses and there was no steel brush on the property to clean it. We had plans to cook burgers and hotdogs Saturday evening but we ended up cooking inside instead of the grill. Other than that, it was a great two days!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was excellent for a group of 14. Everything was very clean and in good shape. We rented a golf cart because we had 4 children under 6 but we could have easily made it without it. It was close enough to the beach for all to walk. The pools were awesome, and the little splash pad was nice for the little. We have never stayed anywhere that had a kitchen as well stocked with appliances, dishes, and silverware. Be aware that the kitchen is on the 3rd floor and there are a lot of steps. We considered it bonus exercise, but it would be difficult if very elderly or someone with knee/hip issues to get up the stairs. There were a couple of TVs that didn't work--the one on the bottom floor and one on the second floor, and the door to one of the bedrooms on the second floor was off the track. These things did not matter to us, but may need to be fixed before too long. Overall, I give this property 5 stars because it was perfect for our family and in such great condition. I would recommend. The staff at Padre Escapes was responsive to a couple of questions I had and easy to work with. No issues with anything.
