EGRET’S REST: PREMIUM 1 BEDROOM, 1 BATHROOM SUITE WITH A SPACIOUS BALCONY, MINIMUM STAY 3 NIGHTS, WALK-TO-EVERYTHING CONVENIENCE!
Welcome to Egret’s Rest at Grande Bay Resort! Our suite is a large one bedroom unit located on the third floor of the front building of the resort.

Your home away from home at Grande Bay is located WATERFRONT and offers a view of Cruz Bay Harbor. Enjoy breakfast or dinner on the balcony while listening to the waves lapping the shoreline.

Our Egret’s Rest one bedroom suite offers a private bedroom with a king sized bed, flat screen TV, access to the spacious bathroom with shower and a small rear balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, dishes and cookware. The dining area includes seating for six and the adjacent living room includes a queen sized sleeper sofa and Smart TV along with access to the large front balcony. Our suite includes a washer and dryer plus a safe to store your valuables. We provide all linens, including beach towels, plus beach chairs and coolers for your stay. Egret’s Rest comes complete with a reserved parking space if you choose to rent a vehicle during your stay.

Grande Bay offers a shared pool deck with swimming pool and hot tub. The resort also offers an exercise room with cardio and weight equipment – even a Pilates machine, with stunning ocean views. Grande Bay is open 24 hours a day with staff available to answer any questions you may have or assist you with your vacation. We also offer an on island property management team to assist you with your arrival on island, keys to your suite, concierge services and more.

Having the convenient location of being right in Cruz Bay allows you to walk to shops, restaurants, bars and even some beaches at your leisure.

This was a great condo. We would definitely stay there again. Perfect location, and the condo was very clean and bright looking. We enjoyed the grill which was a nice benefit. The balcony was great. The owner was really good to work with.

Great condo and very convenient location

Our stay was amazing! The condo was very clean when we arrived and it was very spacious. We were provided beach chairs, towels, coolers which was very convenient. The back deck has a great view as well! Location is perfect located right in Cruz bay and in walking distance to all the Cruz bay restaurants and shops! Highlight recommend and we will be back! Also Susan is a great host and very helpful and quick to get back with our questions!

Perfect stay

Our stay at Egret’s Rest was perfect - room was clean and had everything you would need for a perfect beach day. I’ve stayed at Grande Bay before but so far this was the best! Susan communicated with us throughout our stay as needed and checking in/checking out was seamless. We are already planning our next visit back!

Amazing Stay

We have stayed at many units in Grande bay and Egrets Rest is certainly one of our favorites. Loved the ease and convenience into town. The unit was clean and very roomy for a 1 BR with a beautiful view from the large balcony. Communication with Susan the owner was perfect and we really appreciated the welcome gift. Overall can not say enough good things about Egrets Rest.

Well appointed condo in a great location

Egrets Rest had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location and amenities offered are great. The condo was very roomy, clean, and was well appointed. Everything needed for a day at the beach or pool is available as well. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily and walked to local restaurants.

Egret's Rest was perfect in every way. Susan is great to work with and really seems to care that you have a great experience. She has created a very beautiful and comfortable condo. Kitchen had everything we needed, lots of beach towels, beach chairs and coolers - loved the backpack cooler. Really enjoyed the amazing views of the bay and sunsets from the balcony!! Such a perfect location. We had an awesome stay. Only the highest recommendations for this place. Would love to go back soon!

Wonderful relaxing 2 weeks!

We are repeat customers and we love it! Very comfortable, great views, and everything you need is there! As we stay for two weeks, we love to cook home cooked meals and the kitchen is fully stocked! Washer and dryer is sooooo convenient! Plenty of towels for both bath and beach! The view from the balcony is great! Beautiful views, good people and boat watching! Steps from Cruz Bay 'downtown'.

Egrets rest was just what my husband and I needed for our St. John vacation! Perfect location, super clean, beautiful decor & it had everything we needed as far as kitchen supplies, etc. The view from the balcony overlooking Cruz Bay was such a treat every morning & evening! We also appreciated the thought Susan put into surprising us with several “goodies” upon arrival. Great communication & easy to work with. We will be back!

The Best Location and Beautiful Accommodations!

This unit is spacious, modern and so comfortable. Everything that you need is readily available. The views from the patio never get old. And it is a very short walk to restaurants and the popular Beach Bar in Cruz Bay. There is a pool ,hot tub and fitness center on the property. We will certainly be back!

Great space within 30 steps of Cruz Bay night life

Perfect spot for our needs following 7 days on a boat. We wanted to try walking distance of Cruz Bay and were not disappointed. Comfy well appointed space with private parking for our 4-door Jeep. Easy booking and checkin/out. Everything you need!

We had a great time at Egret's Rest in the Grande Bay Resort! It was a pleasure to meet Lisa upon our arrival. Condo was very well appointed with everything we needed and many things we didn't. We loved the views of Cruz Bay and were even greeted with a rainbow a few times. The location is perfect. We brought a car on the ferry from St. John and loved the location of the parking stall. We are hoping to return very soon and stay longer!

Amazing experience!

Egrets Rest was the perfect property for our stay on St. John. My wife and I rented a jeep and had a convenient parking spot. This property had amazing view of Cruz Bay from the patio since it’s along the street and up on the 3rd floor. We were a short walk to any restaurant. Susan the owner/manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth easy and enjoyable. Her communication was great- easy to reach and willing to help with whatever we needed. In addition the amenities she made available to us exceeded all our expectations. My wife and I had everything we needed and more. We definitely look forward to another chance to stay at this property in a future visit to St John. Thanks Susan!

Great condo and perfect location.

We stayed at Egret’s Rest for a week. The condo is much larger in person than it appears on pictures. It has everything you would need to include coolers, kitchenware, and a washer/dryer. The location was perfect and just a quick walk to downtown Cruz Bay. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every night with the great view of Cruz Bay. One great thing about the property is that the resort has a generator. While we were there, St. John experienced multiple power outages, sometimes for 12+ hours. Outside of certain local businesses and restaurants being closed, we ultimately weren’t affected by the power being out and were able to continue enjoying the A/C. Communication with Lisa (property manager) was great! We look forward to visiting again in the future.

This was our 4th time to Grande Bay and definitely our best experience. From the time we got there and found some complimentary drinks in the fridge it was incredible. Susan checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. The unit itself is front row to the bay and offers the best views we've had in our Grande Bay experience. Relaxing on the deck listening to the water is amazing. The unit was loaded with everything needed for our stay, all the conveniences of home. I can't imagine staying in any other unit on our next visit. A little about us for perspective, it was my wife and I staying in the unit. We are avid snorkelers and would hit a different beach every day. It was great to have coolers/chairs/towels/etc for the beach. Also great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. We typically would eat lunch at the unit or the beach and have a nice dinner out someplace Cruz Bay. We also enjoy working out in the gym on the property, which through the years hasn't had quite the upkeep we like but still an option. Overall this unit is exceptional and we can't wait to return.

Every interaction with Susan was excellent! She was very quick to respond and extremely helpful. We were delayed a day in getting to the island and understanding our frustration left us a welcome gift that was very much appreciated. The condo itself is amazing. It's in the perfect location in town, and in the complex, with an excellent view of the harbor from the balcony. We had our coffee and breakfast there every morning and to relax before we left for dinner each night. The amenities in the condo were perfect for us. There is a backpack cooler which was great for beach trips, and the beach chairs were new or not very old. The kitchen was well stocked including plastic containers, platic wrap and bags, foil, some seasonings, etc, and there were two coffee packets and filters provided. We had brought our own bag of coffee knowing it's so expensive on island but it's a great help if you don't. The furnishing are really nice and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and small size toiletries were provided, perfect for a week stay. This was our 4th trip to the island and stayed at different places each time looking for the "perfect" one. This is it. We will definitely stay at this condo the next time we return to St. John!
