Cette belle maison est sur une propriété de 3/4 acres surplombant la magnifique baie de Oak Harbor et le passage de Saratoga. La propriété vous offre une belle vue sur le mont Baker et la chaîne des Cascades. Cette maison a un design moderne avec un plan d'étage ouvert avec des portes coulissantes en verre à l'air frais de la mer et un accès à la cour et au patio. Vous profiterez de l'étage inférieur d'une maison de deux étages avec entrée privée dans votre suite (près de 1 000 pieds carrés). Vous le trouverez très calme car aucun enfant ou animal ne vit ici. En outre, la suite est située dans une rue résidentielle sans sortie. La cuisine bien équipée a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour créer des repas mémorables pendant votre séjour. Le couchage est un matelas à plateau-coussin queen-size Sealy. Vous apprécierez les luxueux draps 600 fils au pouce. Votre unité de divertissement abrite une grande télévision, un lecteur DVD, une bibliothèque de lecture, des magazines actuels et un système audio. Dînez dans votre suite ou sur la terrasse où vous apprécierez regarder les voiliers passer. Cette maison est parfaite pour deux adultes.

Wonderful stay

I've stayed at Karen's VRBO multiple times, and it's always a treat! I revisit Whidbey every year and stay here every time. Great amenities: full kitchen with all your needs: full fridge, oven, W/D, parking spot, spacious apartment. Not to mention, an amazing view. I highly recommend--double thumbs up!

Wonderful stay! Sean and Karen are incredibly welcoming, kind, and have a beautiful home and property. My husband and I stayed for 3 months while he was working on the island, and the apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed. The view is gorgeous, but the hosts truly made this stay special. We stay in many short-term rentals every year, and this one has been by far our favorite. There’s a washer/dryer, a nice little storage room for extra things to be put away, a beautiful and well-equipped kitchen, excellent WiFi, and a very large and comfortable living space. It’s a studio set-up, but much bigger than many studios, and was plenty of space for a couple for a prolonged stay. It also is a gorgeous an easy drive into Oak Harbor, as well as easy access to the rest of the island. The view is incredible, with views of the passage and Mt. Baker visible, and it’s in a quiet, serene neighborhood. We loved taking walks here and enjoyed all the wildlife — deer right outside the window, great horned owls calling at night, rabbits everywhere, and beautiful hawks and sea birds. I cannot recommend this more, and can’t wait to return someday. Thank you, both Sean and Karen, for sharing your home to travelers and making it such a wonderful experience.

Just Perfect!

The property was lovely and the view was even better than I expected. It was a very well appointed kitchen and cooking was easy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. Best of all our hosts, Sean and Karen, were very anxious to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We will be very happy to return in the future!

Great time in Oak Harbor

Lovely Hideaway with Stunning View

We stayed here for a week. The amazing views can't be beat. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. Karen and Sean were kind, welcoming, and offered to help if we needed anything.I was grateful they shared their space, and don't mind that they needed to do outside work next to us during the week they were there. If you seek total solitude, it is not that type of place, but I think that is pretty clear.I would recommend bringing your own body soap, shampoo, and laundry soap. Although there are shops nearby if you need to pick anything up. The kitchen has almost everything you would need as far as dishes, pots, etc. Tons of towels, comfortable bed, and a very nice place to stay.

Very pleasant getaway

We were lucky to find such a lovely place on short notice. The large property is situated near state parks and beaches but we needed a car for most activities. Thank you to the owners who put a lot of care into their home and vacation rental.

Very nice stay

The owners were really nice and provided fresh fruit for us. The space is large and the kitchen has everything you need. I did not give 5 stars because the bed had a rubber mattress protector which was very uncomfortable and noisy.

Wonderful getaway

It's always a magical time visiting Whidbey Island, and Karen and Shawn's makes the visit just perfect. Beautiful view and great location. It's like going home at the end of every day, and makes it very different from going back to a hotel. I've been there a few times now and brought my fiance with me this year--he was blown away by both the Island and our lodging for the trip. A gem of a home on Whidbey!

Whidbey Island Retreat

This is a quiet location tucked back with an amazing view of Penn Cove... I traveled for work but was able to sneak in quite a bit of fun on Whidbey Island. Proprietors are unobtrusive however I did feel guilty with all our comings and goings as I myself am a night owl.

Magnificent View

Great Way to Wake Up!

The morning view was a great way to start each day. While I was fortunate enough to have great weather for most days of my stay, but even on the few cloudy days it was breathtaking. The studio apartment was the perfect place to stay during my two weeks of workshops nearby. Clean, well-appointed accommodations and helpful friendly hosts.

Oak Harbor Scenic Heights

Everything here was excellent! Beautiful view of Saratoga Passage right out back! Great location on Whidbey Island. This studio apartment was spotless and had every possible amenity one could want. Very comfortable bed and awesome shower! Many small creatures such as deer and rabbits hanging out in beautiful property. Everything exceeded my expectations!
