This is our second stay at this house. It is conveniently located to WASILLA. Is very roomy and is well stocked for folks that like to cook on vacation. Rachel is a great host, very informative and makes sign in and departure very easy.

The property was well cleaned when we arrived. Communication with the host was quick and effective. They even provided local recommendations for hikes and restaurants as requested. Check in and check out instructions were thorough.

Lots of bedrooms and enough beds for everyone! Not super clean but also not terrible. Weirdly, no kleenex or paper towels. But great laundry options and they quickly let us adjust our reservation which was awesome. Very good location near downtown. Quiet neighborhood.

I left the house in the middle of the day and my teenagers stayed home, the owner ENTERED the house without permission !!!! No notice, no nothing. My son asked if she is the owner she said yes and said she didn’t know someone is home. Then made an excuse that she received a message to come over ! We did not message her! My personal belongings and my children were in the house , why did she think it would be okay to enter the house!? Oh also it sleeps 10 but has 1 bathroom! Would I stay here again? No !

We had a really nice time at this property. It suited our family of 5 really well and was located in a very centralized place for where all we visited. It did only have 1 bathroom, which we knew before going but we made it work. The did notify us the furnace was out before arriving, but thankfully we had really nice days and it was never needed. It was clean and communication was great!

Overall the house is good. A lot of bedrooms and nice common area to gather. The host answered super quickly when I had questions about things I couldn't find. (I should have read the check-in notes about looking in the closet at the top of the stairs for some things.) So great to be in the middle of all the events for the wedding we attended - location, location, location!I didn't think of this when we booked, but we brought our elderly father with us. He pointed out that the handrail for the stairs didn't go all the way to the top of the stairs. He felt unsure every time he went up/down to the bathroom. This isn't a fault of the house, but a reminder to me to check a few more details for my next booking. I would book this place again!

I hate being this person. If I could give zero stars I would. Will start off by saying it is a beautiful house. However....I rented this house to take my kids to the fair. I showed up really late, like 1130 pm. First thing I noticed was the trash bin outside was overflowing. Ok.. so I texted the host and let him know that it was full and asked if I needed to put it at end of drive. He responded quickly and said he would take care of it next day. Got inside and instantly could smell the musty smell and noticed the floor. I had to sweep the floor as it was gross and everything was sticking too my feet. Got past all that and my kids were looking for a room too sleep. Started off on the princess room at top of stairs to the right. Pulled back the comforter and it had dried boogers stuck to it. So ripped off the comforter and sheets. Looked under the bed, and was full of garbage. Moved on to where I slept. Was a open safety pin right next too bed, was dirt under the sheets and a pile of used tissues under the bed and old shopping tags behind the end table. Ripped off sheets to wash and noticed the mattress cover had old 'stains.' Went downstairs to the 2 bedrooms and the one with king bed had a dirty sock under the bed, dirty sock in the dresser and stains on the extra mattress in there, let along the dirty pee stains on the matress cover . The bunk bed room was the worst tho. After everything i checked all the sheets before putting my kids in them. The top bunk had no sheets

We were just there for a short time to see Hatcher's Pass & the Independence Gold Mine before heading back to Anchorage. It's a very nice home with comfortable beds and plenty of linens. It was easy to find and in a good location for our needs.
