Great weekend trip!

Stayed here for a quick weekend trip to Michigan to go to St. Joseph’s beach. Was a great, quiet location and had everything we needed. Communicated with the host before the stay about some amenities and got very quick and helpful replies.

Nice house near st Joe

We had a lovely stay at this property! House is a little off the beaten path but we felt safe. Air conditioning unit worked really well and the fan in the bedroom was great. Overall a great stay.

Wedding weekend

The property was clean and comfortable and was all we needed for a couple of nights. It was as described in the listing.It seems to be a little hidden gem as other properties on the same street appear dilapidated and neglected.

Clean, not comfy

This home was generally neat and clean and communication with the host was great! The home is a little warm in the summer, though the home has a window unit that worked well. There were a couple of drawbacks - the beds were not very comfortable and we noticed several spiders throughout the home. There were also no bath products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) and the location is a little isolated. Not a terrible stay, but could have been more comfortable.

Listing isn’t as described
.

First off the host is decently nice! The property is absolutely not as described. The listing states “air condition” there is a small window unit in the living room. There is zero central air or units in the bedrooms. Small bugs in the first bedroom. Ant invasion in the bathroom! Zero trash in bathroom, which is bothersome as a woman. Was told ubering to the local “Blue Dress Barn shouldn’t be a problem” but it was! Getting an Uber anywhere was an absolute nightmare. Neighbor is probably a member of the Clampett family! My biggest complaint is the listing states wheelchair or handicap suitable. There is a slope in the main room that your wheelchair will continuously roll down. That is if you are able to wheel yourself up the 3 front door steps as there is no ramp. You will need to get out of your wheelchair to get into the bathroom because the entry space between the bath and washing area isn’t big enough. Overall, if you need additional accommodations, like a wheelchair, this isn’t for you. My husband ended up booking a local hotel that had accommodations for me. I did message the host telling her about the bugs and ubering situation and was told “sorry it didn’t work out”.
